If I'm heading near an evans I can click and collect, but like you say much prefer to order cheaper upfront, Merlin, wiggle, cyclestore, tredz and even crb have been good for me
:D Yes, it;s a shame you have to constantly ask them to price match tbh. It's easier to just shop with the cheaper firm. That said, if they match someone you've had prior bad dealings with it is a great feature.
just had an email from evans, dont forget we pricematch !!

Any suggestions for budget pads? I'm fixing up my old road bike to sell and don't want to spend £20 on a set of Swiss stop pads ;)
These are slightly heavier than my old brakes but so much more powerful. I’d rather trade a few grams for more power.
Bought but surprised to find that these are about 10% heavier than the cheapy/stock ribble branded ones that came on my bike 6 years ago
I agree that the older generations might not be compatible but Shimano provide a dealer info chart. Most 9 speed levers still work. si.shimano.com/api/publish/storage/pdf/en/dm/RACBR01/DM-RACBR01-03-ENG.pdf
Shimano very good brand been around for donkey years... I use to call it shamboozie when I was a kid .. It's the first thing that popped in my head when I saw this deal (lol)
I don't think this includes the bottom bracket?
I had similar issue converting specialized Stumpjumper to 1x 10 originally 3x 10, chain line terrible and eventually got it to less than 0.5mm out by moving bb spacers to non drive side and moving from 40t chainring to 36t, top end not so good but chain retention excellent and gear change spot on!
As an aside, Praxis BBs are a great alternative to SRAM GXP BBs, which suck.
Thanks... I was going to replace my awful SRAM GX bottom bracket for the second time this year, so I'll replace the whole shebang with this! I've now ditched the front mech on all 6 bikes and never looked back.

Thank you. The bike hasn’t actually turned up yet - wanted to capitalise on these while they were cheaper. The bike will have Vision sc 40mm wheels.
I’d go for 80mm although how curved inwards are the inner rim , you’ll want a good 30mm to allow easy access to a track pump etc
What size would you need for a wheel with a rim depth of 40mm or 50mm?
Excellent valves. Tried cheaper ones and they can be hit and miss. These have worked every time without a hitch. The MucOff rim tape is also excellent should you need it - £10 from Merlin. I recently converted my Gravel Bike to tubeless and it's great riding 30 psi max on 43mm tyres.
Heat added, bought for £80 after creating the account and using the £5 voucher/points. My first ever high(?) quality helmet, love it!
Just used this for the first time today. Great helmet, definitely less wind noise and adjusting the airflow is great! Only minor issue is that the tightening wheel height adjuster moves around a little when putting on and could be tighter.
Mine arrived today. Great helmet - fits snugly. Hoping we gat a chance to get out for some decent riding soon! Cheers Steve.
