Hi, I found the Greys ok, was a starter rod for me. Have been using it over two years and there are one or two niggles. I use it mainly on our Res, very rough, muddy and rocks to contend with. I've got a nice Greys river rod, yet to use properly. Need to get myself out on the river sometime soon. Just started tying too, looking forward to catching with the sedges I've just done. Bring on the better weather (y)

Loop is a good range, very highly priced though. Only real drawback. How did you find the GRXI? I have always found it difficult to be satisfied with Greys after bad experiences with rods years ago but they seem to have turned a corner.

Sorry, only just seen this. Tons of people are still waiting for their orders from well before Black Friday (even as far back as August), people have been getting used/broken/wrong items delivered, they've stopped replying to emails, they hang up when you call (if you're lucky enough to get through in the first place). It's got to the point where people are having to contact their banks/PayPal to get their money back. Have a look at the amount of 1 star reviews on their Facebook page.

I would avoid them like the plague, look at their Facebook, hundreds of unhappy customers, not getting orders & cant contact them.
