Jacamo (Clothes Retailer): Hello MSI, yes we would like to place an order for 1,000,0000 3080's
    MSI: what??
Jacamo (Clothes Retailer): Oh and we need them by the 24th as that's what we promised our customers

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news,
But this link was posted around Discord 2 hours ago and thousands of people placed orders, before it even appeared here on HotUKDeals.. I literally saw a screenshot from a guy that had ordered 500 using 10 different accounts!. There is no way this is getting fulfilled. They probably had like 2-3 in stock at most and forgot to change to Out of Stock.

No matter what your order status says, this will be on back order for months. Clearly a mess up.
Best to call up and ask for a refund to get the ball rolling as that will probably take 3-5 working days in itself

You clearly haven't been following the current pricing of these babies. £744 is dead cheap.

I just called up and the lady on the phone told me that they did have stock.
When I asked how many they actually had.

    She responded: 3!

Good marketing strategy by Jacamo to be fair, I expect there is a large crossover market of buyers of male XXXL clothing and high end graphics cards.

Sick of seeing people trying to defend them

Ocuk listed that card at 830 plus delivery one night, then about 6 hours later amazon listed the same card for 532 delivered

    44175721.jpg44175721.jpg

No defending that whatsoever imo (edited)

All these comments are so entertaining, thousands of orders placed yet everyone is getting one

It's like Jacamo are the kings of cards, they beat amazon, currys, scan, ocuk and many many more, they must have some pulling power in the pc component world (edited)

I hope everyone who ordered a card for themselves gets one. Unfortunately, regardless of what supplier sells them or how much stock they have, we are still plagued by people buying these to then fleece other people who aren’t lucky enough to get one directly. Until the scalpers are stopped we will always have this issue when supplies are low.

LOL 99.%will be cancelled as "Do not contact Customer Service regarding your Jacamo order - The agents do not have any idea of stock numbers. They purely act as a reseller for their supplier.

Most likely have oversold and 99.9% of orders will be cancelled."

I’m not saying it’s proof. Also why does everyone beat down in these comments. Toxic jealous people on here man. We’re all here to get a deal. Chill out people.

I think that it is actually logic for mSI to sell them cards through jacamo - at least they will be sold at RRP. For MSI it must be annoying that they selling these cards to the retailers for probably 600£ and all the big players like evuyer, scan , CCL are selling them way above RRP and acting like a scalpers.
  37. deleted2658376's avatar
Just got off the phone with an advisor. He sounded incredibly confident that the card will be dispatched as shown. If this turns out to be nonsense, they shouldn’t be surprised to have a barrage of poor reviews. Given that advisors are instilling this type of hope/assumption it would be a pretty poor show if they weren’t fulfilled

They're very open about this on their forums, even going as far as disclosing their profit margins on certain cards. The price THEY are paying is being jacked up, so they in turn have to raise their prices to compensate. Actually, they're being really quite reasonable in supplying cards that have cost them extra, to back orders who have paid RRP.I had a 3060ti from them for the RRP of £389 delivered, as did many others. That subsequent deliveries cost them more is not their fault.

Do you have a link to these figures please?

I'm interested in knowing how companies like SCAN, Amazon and Curry's are able to sell at near RRP but AWD-IT and OC are selling at nearly double the price. Are some companies selling these at a loss I wonder?

Reason why i went with Scan for my 3090. Having been a OC forum member and loyal customer for over 15yrs their tactics selling the latest range of GPU has been a farce. Selling cards taking full payment with providing no ETA let alone ramping up prices was enough to shop elsewhere. Scan had stock at Msrp and offered free next day delivery with cold war and geforce now included. I've had years of good service from OCUK but find their greedy behaviour took the P this time around.
