I stopped going Vue Leicester due to the same reason (crackling distorted speakers)
Usually go odeon now.
Edit: Well I just checked odeon prices and they've put them up to £13! Used to be £7 before covid. (edited)
Just googled. Not sure what the Drop is. But Voxi seems to be a mobile phone network provider.
Guess it's similar to O2 rewards.

closed for a year during lockdown they had every chance to fix any issues yet the first week I went back the exact same crackling speakers ruining a film.
Two other cinemas here have fitted electric recliners and actually maintain their speakers and projection equipment. vue are cheap for a reason.
