But this post proves its more than one. So mine should be moved back and this duplicate, deleted.
But seems like this website has turned into a closed shop these days were admins and chosen ones all look after each other for revenue and pay-for-posting purposes.
There are some lowlife Hitler admin on this site. There really are. (edited)
Then it's More than likely that you were lucky enough to be able too purchase a Original Sharp TV.... & not the Vestal TV’s that are being produced now & insulting Sharps reputation by putting there badge on a vestal TV.... Like someone else pointed out for £100 more you can quite often get a Standard Samsung & then add too it a 4K firestick & you have a great TV which will be 10 times better than this....
They didn't sell well because unless you have a van you got no chance getting this home lol
It's huge !

And mods rejected my duplicate report without any explanation. (edited)
It's called affiliate marketing and guess the community is just getting exploited more and more nowadays. Used to be much simpler before

Panasonic bought the TV part of Pioneer.

The previous comment before yours literally answers that
Sharp used to be really good when they were the proper Japanese made TVs. My first LCD TV was one of the first 1080p Sharp ones and was great. Their name is just badged on some low quality TVs over here at the moment, however there are reports that their proper TVs are going to be coming back to the UK this year
Funnily enough, for a short period of time Hisense took over the Sharp (USA) brand name and manufactured TVs but the deal went sour.
I think Sharp do make their own TVs in the USA
Can this deal be removed please? It's a duplicate post. But then I suppose the poster/admin new that and wanted it as an "in house" deal (edited)
I see it's been moved to you. Agree that is the right thing for the admins to have done as it was your deal to start with.
I didn't see it was posted and moved to discussions
Not much details about panel type/specs
Panel is VA, brightness at 350 nits (better than low end Samsung and LG at around 250 nits max), direct lit, but no local dimming. (edited)

Very true
Anyone who owns this model, can you post if it any good?
Why would you need to move it, I have a 65” on the wall and I won’t move it but myself, it’s not the weight but the size and it’s fragile.
Only for decorating but if I had a 75" at present it would be a right pain. Not a problem when we finally have the living room finished but if the Samsung QE75Q80 starts to drop from £1499 I will be buying. An extra £500 for 10" is a lot but have gone from being sat 2.5m away to 5m away.
65" would be ideal from a cost perspective but don't want to buy one and then wish I had gone bigger.
Why?
Why?
They really are
Only my opinion but I bought a 50” Sharp on Black Friday 3 years ago for £199 with 2 year warranty.
I thought it was worth a punt at that price.
I’ve been more than happy with it, it’s still going strong and it has better sound than my LG one in the other room which sounds like your playing drums on an empty baked bean tin!
The sharp TV has Harman Kardon Speaker system which really improve the sound once adjusted.
I would buy another Sharp on my experience but I’m not a tele connoisseur…
The previous comment hoped this was better than a year ago. I was asking for someone to give their review of buying OPs, this version now,?
Hisense make Sharp branded TV's in the US.
In the UK/EU they are designed and manufactured by Sharp Poland (formally UMC Poland).
