sorted byme, did you solve the problem?
Sound > Sound preset > sound preset = “Standard”
I've read a bit about both and it seems as though the Hisense edges it.
However, the TCL is about to be £55 cheaper at Costco and I'd imagine will be perfectly fine for most users. Frankly, even though it's not a great TV, the very fact that you can get a 4K QLED with a five year warranty for this price is really good. I'd imagine power users will find a million things wrong with it but for your average consumer it's a sweet deal given the spec. (edited)
It's not brilliant to be fair, but I think the majority of people would be using a sky/virgin box and firestick or console so if you plan on using it as is it might annoy you. It's full android though so you can install apps directly from the play store... Vidaa on the Hisense is very snappy, great to use and has all your usual catch up apps, Netflix etc.
Fair point. Unfortunately glasses haven't hit in my mid-20's. Maybe I'll upgrade in a decade

I’ve returned it
I'm very much interested in a budget 43" TV
Can you advise that the quality is like on 720p material? Does it upscale well enough? I watch alot of 720p stuff and a 4k screen will stretch that across 9 times!
What's the speed like? Is it quite responsive with not much lag when navigating, browsing etc. (edited)
This is an amazing price for QLED with the Costco 5 year warranty and 3 months returns option.
Heated.
Might grab it for the bedroom. I wish there were more 4k 40 inches but it seems really rare now? Those extra 3" make a huge diff right Infront of the bed because it's on a bracket. 40 is perfect.
I actually had the 43" in our bedroom but ended up giving it to the kids and I got the Hisense 50" in there instead now. I wear glasses so wanted bigger so I could see it better haha
It’s live now
See it's HDMI 2.0 only so capped at 4k60 but don't think the PS5 actually have many games that run at 4k120.
Don't want anything larger than 43inch as the room it's going in is so small.
Thanks (edited)
I'm not very up to speed with TV's so would really appreciate any advice! Mainly for watching sky/firestick and playstation.
Thanks
It's usually a refund. I put a request in last year for a hot tub that went down by £100 and had the difference refunded
Yup it's refund. I just got the adjustment reply off them. It was so close too! Tomorrow is my 30th day of owning it. It's a decent TV (don't expect it to wow you, it's a cheap TV after all) but it's much better knowing it's only cost me £270 rather than £350 (edited)
Sound > Sound preset > sound preset = “Standard”
What is that? I got mine today and it seems fine.
I had a high frequency noise when the volume was below 10
I assume that is an isolated problem because I've had no such problem.
I know of two others who have it
