I'm the opposite. I've had many soft cases and they don't last anywhere near as long as the hard ones. We have two Samsonite soft cases right now that have only done 3 holidays but are ready for the scrap heap.


But our American tourista hard cases have been used dozens of times and still going strong. I'll only buy these from now on.

I paid around £39 for this as there was a 20% code off line but you need to sign up to the wish list as it often goes out of stock matalan.co.uk/pro…ack
I think there is another code out on voucherscodes website, April2050.

Also the weight of these needs to be considered. This one weighs 4.39kg, that's a chunk out of your allowance without packing anything in it.

We used to get these, but now but soft shell.

Thanks OP, needed 2 new large cases and the code worked a treat. Not questioned by staff about what department it was for

I tried using the 20% off code but it said it was only on full price items and these are supposedly "reduced"

Far too heavy to be useful.

Their lightweight range is fantastic though and despite appearing flimsy our first set lasted around 10 years and some 60 flights.

4.4kg! Wow. If traveling with someone like Jet2, this would bring your allowance to 17.6kg from just the case alone.

Maybe it was a different IT hard shell suitcase? The one I got was grey but discount worked
