sorted byYou pay your £3.97 up front and when you insert SIM into phone it activates and you then you have unlimited calls/texts and 21gb of data to use in that 30 days.
When you sign up it automatically sets your card payments to renew every 30 days to ensure you have uninterrupted service and the first three months are at this half price.
If you choose not to renew your plan after 30 days you simply go in to the app and turn off automatic card payments. You can still receive calls if you choose not to renew the plan, but unable to use any data or make chargeable calls.
There is no penalty for not renewing your plan and can transfer your number to another provider or cancel your SIM at any time.
Only thing you need to be aware of is, if you have any credit on your account or any days remaining of your 30 day plan you’ve already paid for, you won’t get that refunded.
You can sign up to another deal at any time in the future. (edited)
If you move the phone number from Lebara to another provider that immediately cancels the account and can log in and order a new SIM with any promotions they have at the time.
If you simply stop using the SIM, I think SIMs remain active for 6 months if no credit is applied. Then will not work and need to take out a new SIM as above and can take out any promotions they have at time.
If you try to use a SIM after a period of time, where you've not purchased a new plan, but before it is cancelled in the 6 month period, I think you'll have to buy a plan at the going rate and will not get any half price deals.
Once you stop using the SIM, there is an option to "Delink" the SIM from your account. This then stops it being used and after 24-48 hours shows no SIM on your account when you log in, and then free to purchase any new promotional SIM, but it will have a new number.
You could of course also use a different email address to purchase new SIMs in the future.
Your uk tariff works abroad for a rolling 60 in 120 days. At day 61 they start charging extra on everything, which is paid from previously bought credit. They don't charge your bank. No top up = no service
Yes >>> play.google.com/sto…=GB
If you're planning to watch 4k films, or indeed any video - don't bother with Lebara. Bought for an experiment to use in Central London over a few days, 5 bar signal, and the internet connection would drop at least every minute or so. Basically unusable. EE and Three didn't miss a beat though.
Did you complete the port request before the 5pm deadline? If not it will move over today. Also have you activated the new sim first?
It does allow you. Go here mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/search/?text=exclusive, login and select your plan (if it redirects you your account page after you login, just copy paste the link above once more). Click buy now, then select existing sim and pay.
I followed this, but now the issue is that I have 2 plans active, and the old one is on auto renew and I am unable to set the new one to auto renew and switch the old one off. Going to speak with their CS tomm
Edit: never mind. Just received an email that the Auto renew for new plan has been switched on and old one is switched off. So after completing steps above, just switch off auto renew on old plan and switch it on for new plan. Then wait for 15-20 minutes for Lebara to update their backend 🏻 (edited)
Lebara mobile customers can use their regular monthly allowances for no extra cost when roaming anywhere in the EU & India, Terms applied.
Yes you can, but you won't get the first 3 months half price offer
See my post for this deal last month, the link in the description works for existing lebara customers. Just sign in to the website and choose existing SIM when you go to order the new plan.
Any data you have left for your current plan will be rolled over onto your first month of the new plan

If you are planing to watch 4k films over data on a regular basis get unlimited.
I use netflix on the phone (1080) and youtube and never reached 10gb
I want to retain my no (edited)
Thank you, this works for me.
Heat....
(and all done, just wating for the sim to claim my old number)
Believe me speed isn't everything in a mobile network....
I'd rather pick a mobile network which offers a stable set realistic speed like 40mbps and low latency like Vodafone than bursts all over the place up to 900mbps connection in very limited places with a higher latency (Three).
Yes very true - hence that’s why they give 14 days
Everyone’s properties areas surroundings etc has a lot to do with it.
I believe you need to port out and then port in
cannot switch directly?
I web chat customer services and requested to change to another tariff giving him the new SIM card phone number and tariff details and also said that I wanted to keep my current number. He did it for me but he did stipulate that you aren't supposed to. So, I think it's worth asking anyway.
Lebara to Lebara don't think so, someone needs to check
Yes - website & app with decent widget.
Not getting the 3 months half price without double porting. See the info here hotukdeals.com/com…290 (edited)
See above
I looked up their fair usage roaming terms and it was quite miniscule and tailored to each tariff.there's a pdf file on their site. Best check before you buy but went with talkmobile for a similar deal but with 15 Gb in the eu
Vodafone
At least this is no contract, if no good can port out relatively easily.
My 12m 3 Unlimited contract is ending this month, might go for this as my work phone / backup / hotspot
Still working for me (edited)
* For the 'no contract' part, do we need to give them any notice (is that usually different to cancelling a 1 month contract deal) or can we cancel the week before reaching the end of the 1st three months?
* For the 'new customer deal', if we cancel the service after the 3rd month. Does that mean we cannot get any other new customer deal going forward (even though we don't have any current contract with them anymore)?
