Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX3060 + SN350 240GB at £1199
= what have i shown at this price on here?
Ryzen 5 5600G 8Gb 2400mhz £469
my price of vega on here is considerable less with higher storage and ram being the key 16Gb for vega (yes i do show sometimes 8Gb but mention to top up and the price reflect the 8Gb to crack in 16GB but 2400mhz on a ryzen system which is extremely low and yes ive shown 2400mhz when its been a super deal u might as well ignore that its got ram at all to correct but ive mentioned.
and the list continues with every single one of these:
novatech.co.uk/pc/…en/ i can massively beat elsewhere.
Pcspecialis
instantly click on 5600x/3060/16Gb/650W i can obtain that system with the lowest case 512GB for £1084 and this spec is no frills im not using prem stuff yet, its a no frills spec and i can easily obtain the same spec with a better case at palicomp and get 3060Ti for the cost.
There cheapest 5600G £615
if i go to there Chosen selection for people who like it simple for prebuilts
pcspecialist.co.uk/gam…pc/
3600 + GT1030 for £580 ( i did that spec for £380 at palicomp during the crisis)
12100 + 1650 for £780 (i posted the other day a 11400F+3060 for that at ccl) (12400F +3060 at £100 more but least u get a free keyboard n mouse set at awd worth £68 on offer normal £100
12400+1660Super on site for £1000.00
5600x + 6700xt £1310 (£999 on awd atm was £1100 get a free keyboard n mouse set)
Chilblast:
next day pc range: chillblast.com/gam…day
12400F + 1660Super £1129.99
5600g + 3060 £1409.99
chillblast.com/chi…781
12700K + 3070TI £2400 is it?
i can get a 3080Ti from palicomp and still have change
I do take into consideration part to part value. before this drop on 3080 CCL was up there on their 3080 ones as they are atm on their ryzen deals (no posted) and they get beaten by Palicomp for a Ryzen 3080 build as previous posted so i dont post every single link from these firms it has to be the winning combination for value, and atm SCAN UK is banned and they did have one which was a nice three way in a VS on the 3080 and i secretly shared it in the comments in the Vs.
Scan uk is my personal target aim i love to beat but ive sent them tons of customers when someone comes to u for that personal little nichie way
FiercePC
Lovely firm sent quite alot of folks over to them for customs, a firm i keep on my raider, 100% they have just dropped some prices on their intels which ill be relooking over 12600K / 3060Ti looks nice but alot of their ranges are not, but previous have been out on prices.
PCSpecialist / CyberpowerPC , prime deals come and go on the likes of VERY / Currys Clearance / Argos too which ive posted.
the only ones i have missed is the student ones because im not a student but i have suggested and support them.
ive also posted over the years alot of Ebuyer deals via their own website and there ebay account, ive prob posted more graphic card deals on here then the admins before the crisis.
Punch tec does some smashing deals every occasion on the likes of laptop direct so they have been posted.
Ive posted previous alot of Box uk deals, but i dont feel there prices are nice as they use to me though.
obvious each firm does different promo and specials and if they hit the mark they get posted but sometimes even when they have a special ive beaten the combo elsewhere before hand.
i guess the biggest reply to anyone with any doubts against me.....
there's 10 million users on this site, im pretty sure if they had an amazing one and i missed it im sure it would of been posted? - which i can answer that myself; they occasional do and if its been a cracker ive support and so do many others and if its not me or others will say, nada go here. (edited)
thanks for the kind comment.
Some of the hate is actually from other system builders, some have slipped up with usernames and then use them on discord and its like ohh now i remember why u said all that lol.
its not rocket science if one cant get and obtain that consumer never let that consumer go to your rival.
Tec bis is a a billion dollar fortune and everyone wants a slice of the pie.
but when ur ready come back and we can talk about self build too., i do have some outstanding inbox to help others which ill go though this evening to anyone waiting for a reply its been pretty insane again.
back laters. family time.
system builders obvious love when i post there deals too, but they get annoyed when i tell folks the pro/cons of their marketing mission, and then more annoyed too when i post also their rivial.. so im the marmite guy. (edited)
Best way, get on YouTube and watch some reviews.
Who cares. This is a community for saving money.
32GB Patriot Viper Steel 3600MHz DDR4 at +7.61.
if ur keen for a high end i7 build and u desire a lower GPU, the best budget one is AMD 6600 in the options. however the set price total most would be better to purchase a lower CPU + dif extras + & Higher GPU, so that idea is defo for that person who wants a higher spec to last and then do the gpu laters. (edited)
double check the config, defo works just tried. (non o/s price)
Great Qs and ill answer when ive got some more time as im in/out.
but could u please give me the names of the 5 firms u have in mind and ill explain? (edited)
Sweet spot for resolution is 1440p IMHO. You definitely want 120hz or above for refresh rate. G-Sync or Freesync is a nice to have but not essential. VA Panel is the best value for money. Get IPS panels if you need colour accuracy (design work etc).
Depends on your budget mate, I have a very similar set up to this pc and I use the Samsung odyssey g75t 240hz monitor. Absolute gem of a monitor for its price.
What discord you in mate?
Looks even better given the last year...
No compromise whatsoever on this build! Good work!
No 32gb rams?
Just q*16? (edited)
It does seem like you do only post CCL, Palicomp and the vast majority is AWD-IT though, like 95% of posts. The 5% is the exception not the rule.
There’s at least five other big companies in the UK who do pre-builds, with comparable deals and you never post any of them. Why is that? (edited)
Sure,
Pcspecialist, CyberpowerPC , FiercePC, Chillblast and Novatech.
Many thanks for the response, I shall do some review research
discord.gg/k7q…HQt
Might seem like an odd mix but I'm just after the best bang for my buck with lots of cores and lots of RAM for virtualisaton to support my home lab on a single system
Great write up!
Question - what's your view on using a microserver of some sort with VMWare?
Please keep them coming.
Regards,
JJ
Also, do I need to select an option under the ‘Case Fan’ section or can I leave it on 'No thanks, I don't want a case fan'. (edited)
From the research i did on cases last night, yes,
-£10 for the msi forge (lowest decent)
+10 F15M by gamemax (u all know i like my gamemax f15M, appeal and price bang on)
+12 lian li 205 (lower type for the brand)
+16 BitFenix Nova Mesh (good case slight different style)
+18 phanteks Eclipse P360A (reviews good, i like, price good but not as pop on here)
+25 Phanteks Eclipse P400A (stunning reviews, lots also love it, price good)
+25 Lian lin lancool 215 (very pop on here, cracking reviews)
+33 Lian Li O11D Mini-W Mid Tower Gaming Case (this is superb and nichie i love...)
so there the ones i like, 5 sec thought, but check on YouTube and type the name of the case and there is more in-depth reviews on each one which have the time to go for each one. (edited)

here u can look at other peoples suggested designs, can give u some nice visual idea folks.
but I'm just worried the prices are going to crash in the next couple of weeks! It does seem like a good deal, considering the price of the graphics card alone.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the following or see anything that I should add, remove or change? Here's my thinking for the adjustments I've made:
Processor seems nice as is.
Ram - I wanted RGB (mid-life crisis?) and though that the higher MHZ would be of benefit
MOBO - I wanted the Z690 (I might overclock in the future) and the MSI covers all of my bases (I wanted at least 4x SATA), though I was tempted by the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX for the RGB (it might be becoming a problem), but wasn't sure it was worth the extra £40.
CPU Cooler - the MSI seems to get decent reviews, I was tempted by the Corsair iCUE H100i, but again wasn't sure it was worth the extra £37.
GPU - I was tempted by the 3080 12GB, but you don't seem to get much more bang for the extra £167 and the TI was out of my budget.
Case - 4x 3.5 bays was handy for me as I have some older hard drives I'd likely add, so I stuck with the default.
PSU seems nice as is
SSD - seems nice as is, though I was half tempted to drop down to 500gb to save £40 (edited)
