    I'm looking for a really basic data package, maybe even less than 1GB is needed. Need to put a sim in an old mobile to connect the mobile to my daughters Libre 2 (diabetes glucose monitor) which sends the data to us at home when she's at school. Should I go for this or is it over the top for what's needed?

    Agree good deal but 24 month contracts suck. Managed to bag 100gb for £3.50p/m a few weeks back on a 12 month commitment. With new masts been erected and the 3G switch off feel 24 months is too long if your service eventually deteriorates or other network coverage improves in your area.

    I am currently on a voda contract that has expired, if I switch to this and transfer the number, does the voda contract automatically cancel?

    Yes has soon as you give your new provider your pack code and the number goes live your contact will automatically be cancelled from you old provider.
    If you don't want to talk to Vodafone then just text: PAC to 65075 and give the code to the new provider. (edited)

    Just switched from EE SIM (£22pm) only to O2 (£8pm 12month contract 20Gb doubled as I'm a virgin media customer) sim only just this week. 3 in this area has never been able to cut it!
