Can anyone who has purchased a Toshiba TV recently comment on the sound quality. I have an older Tosh that's needing replacing but the sound quality is abysmal, really tinny. Obviously I'll steer clear of buying like for like if sound is no better. Thanks.

    Thanks for this

power consumption is 82W but fifty percent more if you use HDR

I'd go for Costco for the sake of the £10. Much better peace of mind.

Came for the "Toshiba are substandard rubbish, or it's only 50hz, comments"!

A few others are under £150 but fat chance to find (I was told by my Tesco mate), as I have managed to get last one in my local store (edited)

This is older stock, it's a 2020 model. The newer model for 2022 (55UL3263DB / 55UK3C63DB) has an upgraded processor and faster interface.

Good price for a 55" TV though. (edited)

Hi, do you know if this 55UK3C63DB is any good?

Thinking of getting it from argos.

Seen a guy buy 2 of these in the Kingsway store in Dundee earlier tonight so must be a national clearance (edited)

Any good for using exclusively for a PS5?

It will work, and will be fine for the average user, but won't offer anything special. The TV is limited to 60hz, so won't accept 120fps games, HDR isn't bright enough to make any difference, controller input lag is around 25ms, which is fine for most, but Samsung and LG offer a faster response time. I know that it is a somewhat clichéd comment on here but this is not a Toshiba made TV. I fell in to the trap of buying one of the Vestel rebadged models for my wife's parents and I really wish I hadn't. It has been one problem after another.

    Cheap rubbish.

Same problems with hisense TV. It broke down 2 months after warranty!! The top TVs are Sony and Samsung but we all have a different budget.

I bought this TV and it broke just after 1 year so out of warranty.
The screen started jumping and going white.
I thought it was a one off.
Now our other TV Is doing the same not even 2 years old and 65 inch.
Has anyone else had these problems.
    Toshiba technical couldn't help
