About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Previous deal listed was only 50GB.
Final Update: Finally got my sim today and I can confirm the 5G 100GB plan does not have any speed cap. Full steam ahead. See you all in 2 years!
Update: Still waiting for my SIM to arrive (delayed due to Royal Mail strike), I did manage to add the account online and can confirm that my contract has NO SPEED LIMITS.
Screenshot from my Plan Details page:
Update: Looks like they have fixed the plan
You must enter Student Beans / Blue Light Card discount code here during checkout:
Make sure adblocker and VPN are off when entering the code,
I know a lot of people will say there is no EU roaming. Simply add the ‘Roam Abroad Pass’ for an extra £10/month only when you need it and you will get EU countries AND USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. Other networks providing free roaming doesn’t include these extra countries. Simply cancel the pass when you are back.
Plus EE gives 50GB of fair use on roaming, while Vodafone and O2 has a 25GB limit, Three has a 12GB limit.

sorted by1. BT Broadband Customers only
I am not a BT Broadband customer and I have successfully placed order, all confirmed and SIM will be with me on Monday. There were no checks whilst I was on the phone. The double data (100GB) is also confirmed.
2. Where to add the Discount code
Look at the bottom of the screen where you choose your additional benefit, AppleTV etc. It's hidden under "Voucher Code" which you need to expand.
3. Discount code not accepted
Ensure all pop-up and add-blockers are disabled in your browser. My code was rejected a number of times until I disabled "AdBlock" and then launched a new browser session, code then accepted.
4. You appear to already be an EE Customer
If you've ever been with EE before then there is a possibility your old account is causing this error. It doesn't just match on email address. so despite me using three different email addresses over three attempts, I kept on getting this same error. If you get this, you'll get an email with your "Basket ID" attached and a phone number to call - very friendly member of staff.
5. Already an EE Customer (Continued)
Once you're through on the phone, the help team will need to manually create an account for you. They will use the email address attached to the "Basket ID" (above) so make sure you've got the basket exactly how you want it before you call them up. Takes about 5 minutes to manually create an account for you - they will then go through the rest of the process with you over the phone.
6. CS said they would check that they are allowed to add two discount codes to the purchase (natural 10% and Student/Perk 20%) and within a minute came back and confirmed they could add both. So if you're told otherwise, just ask them to check again.
They also at this point confirmed the double data offer (100GB).
They will send you a weblink via a text message so you can approve a credit check and then subsequently add bank details.
You will need the following for credit check:
Month/Year - At your current address
Month/Year - You started with your current bank
Month/Year - You started your current job
Although by the time I got to me third one, they said "roughly" and I just answered 6 years and that was accepted.
7. Confirmation of order and all done
My credit check went through fine - I was then on hold for about 5-10 minutes whilst the final process was completed. As I was chatting an email came through confirming my order (I will need to do a "forgotten password" I guess to get access to my new account).
I didn't do PAC code during the order process - apparently a quick call to 150 once you've activated your new SIM and they will sort the port.
EE Mobile: CPI (based on 12.6%) + 3.9% = 16.5%
£12 plus 16.5% this April coming (based on 12.6% plus 3.9% would be £13.98)
Following April based on the same would be £16.29
So over the two years (roughly speaking)
£12 for dec'22-mar'23 is £48
£13.98 for a year is £167.76
£16.29 apr'24 to nov'24 is £130.32
So overall contract £343.08 equivalent of £14.30pm
Bit of rounding in there but you get the gist, it's not pennies difference over 2 years.
If you have the same did you get it resolved?
Ordered last Friday (25th)
Only ever received a confirmation e-mail (with the order number)
Never received a dispatch e-mail or anything confirming the plan details
SIM arrived via RM either Fri/Sat this weekend (was away)
All now activated and up and running, price is correct in online account with both discounts applied correctly!
I talked to EE on the chat the other day and lady was super unhelpful, did nothing for me and basically as an existing customer said this wasn’t available.
Also, is the plan they gave you over the phone speed capped? (edited)
With EE, you can also just add £10 for one month whenever you need to any EU country PLUS USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia or New Zealand. Simply switch it off when you are back. (edited)
They wouldn't offer it to me as an existing EE customer, and could only offer me 40 GB for £15, inc discount.
Crazy, because I could have set up a new line with them, but instead went for the ID Mobile deal at £10 a month, 30 day rolling.
Many thanks in advance!
Having read a couple of posts on this and the other EE thread about people being contacted - I was waiting for the inevitable.
I missed a call from a 01942 number yesterday - quick Google indicates it is a genuine EE number. However, no second attempt to call me, no attempts to call me today (I know they run CS 7 days a week) and no email.
10 minutes ago I noticed an email from EE - heart sinks. "Thanks for Registering with My EE - Please verify your email address".
Ran through that, specified my password and logged in.
100GB/Unlimited at £10.80 all listed in my account.
Guess there is still time for them to contact me and change it - reading that some people are being told they cannot use both codes but can use the 20% on its own. I guess £12/mnth isn't too bad, I'd probably accept that if they contacted me. Especially as you cannot get anywhere near that using the EE Front Page.
However - lots of people indicating that they are now having problems getting both discounts applied.
I was forced to call them as their system was finding an old account and saying I was already a customer. So CS manually pushed the order through for me.
If you're an existing EE customer you are probably in for a world of pain. Or not, depending on who you speak to.
I used identical name, address & payment details for my new account as my existing EE account, the only thing that was different was my email address. Perhaps that caused issues. The lady I spoke to said it's not possible/allowed for an EE customer to have two accounts, but here we are.
One thing was clear though - this offer isn't available to existing customers, and it's a "BT offer" so they can't match it on the phone, apparently. That is unless you get to speak to someone who can do it, who knows.
I tried to get my existing contract discounted, because it's the same as this one albeit £22 a month, but no luck. In the end I could only get it as a new SIM, so I'll have to do the whole porting to PAYG and back again dance, but it's less than half of what I'm paying so I can live with that.
The lady I spoke to didn't mention or ask about anything relating to BT, BT Broadband or anything, even though this is an offer for BT Broadband customers only. (edited)
This has ended up as a second plan in my existing account, but with a single "loyalty" discount of £3.50 a month, which takes the cost down to £11.50 instead of £10.80. Can't be bothered having another 90 minute phone call for the sake of 70p a month though.

Another student code 7FCFZDDBT (edited)
Just want to know if any non-BT customer has signed up and if it appears to have gone through OK?
Really appreciate it.
1. Do they confirm you are actually a BT customer?
2. Anyone tried a Perks code rather than a Student one?
Been on PAYG for a month waiting for BF deals - only to see EE offering 6 months half price on a 2yr SIM - Yer, not doing that buddy boys.
I think if you leave BT you simply lose half the data (edited)
Cheers
Great deal, thanks op
