How good is the master Oled panel over the Master Oled Pro on the 1500?

All of the 2022 LZ range use an "OLED EX" panel, which is an LG WRGB display. The difference is that the LZ1000 and higher has a heatsink behind the screen like the LG G series so you can push more current through them making them brighter and this helps to cool them down. The screens vary in brightness, not really in quality. Once you drop down to the 800 series you will see the difference as these are LED displays.

Just beware it has two HDMI 2.1 ports that are capable of 4K @120hz (and one of those is the eARC) - the listing is misleading.

That aside, it's a phenomenal TV and I love it.

So do all TVs that aren't Samsung or LG as only those two companies make their own SOCs everyone else just uses mediatek.

Superb TV tbh and well worth it at this price. If you know you know.

Speakers are the usual terrible speakers on TVs. Buy a soundbar or 5.1 set up.

Just got rid of our non smart Panny Plasma 50". Max power draw 395W, compared to LG oled at about 80W on average. It's nearly paid for itself in 3 weeks😄😄.

The speakers are not poor, it's all relative really but most reviews are very favourable. I have the 980 that has the same speakers and to me it sounds great.

Panasonic and Sony TV's are the best to get.

I got an absolute bargain on my lg OLED, but prefer the other brands mentioned.

I got the 55JZ1500 earlier this year and it's superb. Did a lot, and I mean a lot, of research before going OLED and the Panasonic came out top for me, just edging the Sony. Zero regrets. You can't go wrong with this.

The 1500 is really good, unfortunately the 1000 is not a very well reviewed model (at all) that puts people off.

Googling reviews for the 1000 brings up an old model not the current one.
