This lets you wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet and stream your stored music or favourite streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. "Simple & Straight" circuit design minimizes distortion from the input selector, electronic volume control and power amp for sound purity and very low levels of distortion. I just use it now for the DAB+ radio and as a sound system for my TV.
I've since found many reports of unreliability with this unit.
Although they do refund it back if you dont use it in the 6 yrs.
Despite that this is a very good deal. Heat added.
Hi Fi had better build quality back in the day.

You might need to buy a better antenna, but they're only a tenner from Amazon/eBay.

What you probably want is mini hifi system with streaming capability like Denon CEOL N10, but price is at least £100 more. Worth to check before making decision.
It could give you a fright when you went to turn it down & it randomly went up to max instead.

Tried three different speakers with the unit , really disappointed , none of them were a patch with the sound on my old Sony system .
Can’t fault R.S. for their customer service. Even though I’d used the system , I explained I was unhappy with the performance , they gave me a full refund
