Other than for stuff that won't fit (e.g. the turkey @ Christmas!) we've completely stopped using the main oven now and just use this for cooking.
    It's brilliant!

    Hey guys,

i used mine for the first time yesterday.
not happy at all, as at this point i feel like my Tefal actifyrer does a better job.
I put in maybe around 600g of frozen fries in and set it on the french fries setting.
upon completion some of the fries at the bottom will still soft and floppy, not like others.
please advise on what i may have done wrong if i have.

Will this be delivered where the Costco card is registered? Or could you have it delivered elsewhere?

You can deliver to any address/person as long as you are a member. I have bought stuff for my parents several times and they live ~100miles away.

Does average size chicken fit in basket or are they to small to fit a chicken in

Probably a tight fit. We quarter our chickens and they cook nicely. (edited)

We bought one of these in early December and haven't used our oven once since then! It is really great and makes cooking more easy. I love being able to sync the two baskets so they both finish at the same time. No more having to work out timings. We bought a couple of silicone inserts for it from Amazon

and it makes the cleanup even easier. Just put the inserts straight into the dishwasher.

It cooks at the same speed as our oven, uses less electric, is easier to use than the oven regarding timings and it is easier to keep clean.

    Bargain at £100.

I bought it at the end of November. It’s my first air fryer. It don’t have anything to compare it against but I’ve been really happy with it. It gets cleaned after every use. I find it easy to clean and having two drawers is really useful. It has cut down on the use of the oven. I’m really pleased with it.

Using a cooking thermometer, I'm finding that this doesn't get above 175 degress in single basket mode and 180 degrees in dual mode. That is quite a way short of 200 degrees.....

I have this and it's great, but the programme sequence to set dual cook/sync cook isn't always easy to remember, I am forever getting it the wrong way round despite reading the instructions and watching a YouTube tutorial! Maybe it's just me though haha.
Does anyone have a link to glass dishes for doing lasagne/shepherds pies etc please? I know there are some Ikea ones which fit but looking to get some online if possible, thanks.

I purchased one of these mid last year. Almost identical to the Ninja but half the price. This has replaced approx. 80% of cooking I used to use the oven for. Dual cook function is very good to have different temp foods cook at same time, so great for cooking full meals.

Bought this in the MK store 6months ago and use it often. Works very well (in limitations of what you can do with an air fryer), good sized non-stick drawers.

I got this and use it a fair bit, only downside is it’s maximum 200c whereas some others go higher than this!!
Oh and if anyone has managed to make good chips with it please put on here the best way to do them as it takes forever in mine and they are never nice.I’ve tried par boiling, microwaving and soaking in water !!!!
    robot1's avatar
    robot1
I've had success with this method: Cut to finger width. Rinse in water. Par boil in salted water 6 to 7 minutes. Dry on a rack. Pre heat air fryer for 5 minutes while the chips are drying. Once dry spray or brush the chips with oil (I use olive oil). Place in the fryer with gaps between chips to let the air circulate. Cook for 6 minutes at 200. Turn the chips over. Cook for another 6 minutes. Shake or turn chips. Cook for another 6 minutes. Should be ready but may need another couple of mins.

There is another one in costco which is 2-in-1 (slow cooker with air fryer). Has anyone got it and is it worth buying? It would save a lot of space on my worktop if I could only have one unit there.

We’ve had this for a few months and it’s very good. Used daily. The first one didn’t turn on so we returned it and the replacement had been fine. As good as the Ninja in my opinion! Would recommend!
