About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Reason this is a different deal is because of the 6 month introductory cost at £15pm.
When we hit the ~Q1'23 price rises then you can switch elsewhere...benefit of this deal is securing the £15pm cost and chances are you will need to switch anyway so this introductory price is perfect for now.
362Mbps is not too bad even after the 6 month period when it escalates to £30pm...it all boils down to the CPI price rise...

£15pm until we know more. For folks trying to lock in now...I think their package will rise irrespective
So may as well go in light touch at £15 and decide closer to the time where to commit
I was on 18 month unlimited everything package for £89 until this month which would raise to, I believe, £150 from next month and after a lot of haggling, the customer service would not offer me this for even £30 a month (ignoring the £15 discount for 6 months). I went ahead and served 30 day cancellation notice. Next morning, got a call offering this plus O2 sim for £36 on 18 month contract
Going to contact them and ask them what the hell is going on and see if it’s a technical error
But customer service is awful, can't wait to leave them just cause customer service won't sort any issues out for you
I had to deal with them last year when my internet dropped out, 50 agents (that's not a typo - it was fifty separate agents!) and 7 engineers later the issue is resolved. I wish I had taken pictures! I'm not kidding - they replaced 3 cabinets in the street, all the cabling to the wall outside my house (that's what caused the biggest delay as they had to rip up the cable, rebury it and make good the repairs). All their cabling inside my house and the Superhub. The only thing that wasn't replaced was my TiVo box!
Am told it is possible to leave but TBH I posted this hoping to generate other better deals out of the woodwork.
As I say this is just a possible option - hopefully more miraculous deals posted!
I've also got Volt to up my broadband to M350, but that required an O2 SIM only contact.
I am on BT but the service keeps dropping and price rising continually, whereas I believe virgin allow an escape route in the event they raise prices...
Thinking I can hemorrhage a week or so whilst waiting for the installation...
Your BT broadband contract is ending on 11 February 2023. You're paying £28.53 a month and at the end of your contract, this will change to £34.53.
I guess I will suck it up for 1 month just to allow some time for Virgin to send an engineer over
If I cancel can my partner put it in her name next time and get a newby deal?
Best bet is to cancel, check if there are other providers with a better price and wait for the retentions team to call you. I used the fact that Vodafone had a great offer on to get the price down - I also didn't accept the first thing they offered - saying I needed to think about it and could they call me back in a couple of days. The callback was right at the end of the month, so I don't know if they had monthly targets to hit or something, but they offered me a much better deal.
