I was looking at getting two of these of our impending trip to the USA.
Do I just put these in our handsets or do I need to do anything else before we go?

They need to be activated in the Uk i believe. Also worth noting you’re limited to 12GB abroad

Hi, where is the link to the 25GB for £12.94, please?

How much is the cost of extra data? (edited)

25gb a bit pointless for roaming as you can only use 12

Wait a minute. So this has no extra roaming charges when every other three contracts do?!
Hot deal but I like this network even less...

Yup. I couldn't believe it either. My contract has come to an end and I chatted with an online agent to request my PAC as I'm annoyed that despite being a very long term 3 customer, that because I renewed my contract after a certain date, I lost the Go Roam. They said they couldn't give me roaming unless I took it this PAYG SIM and I'd have to use call forwarding to use my normal number. Told him I wasn't interested in a work around and he said they can't do anything else but looking into roaming in the future. So I've got the PAC and plan on switching to O2 very soon. (I travel a lot to Europe for my job so roaming is really useful for me)

Any cheap SIM card for traveling in Turkey?
    teacoffeebiscuits's avatar
It would be better to get one in Turkey itself as the rates are way cheaper as long as you are staying for less than 90 days.

Does the 30 days start from purchase or from when it's activated?
Need something for end of August
    amour3k's avatar
From the point of activation ONLY.

And not from the point of purchase, etc, no.

This one come's up on Amazon's website every once in a while.

I'm holding out for the Amazon Network Three SIM, that's preloaded with 24GB Wyeth of ONLY data - but over a period of a 2 Year window!! :-D

That one too come's up (with a decent price point, etc) - every once in a 'cycle' also ...

    Hehehehehehe.

Can you direct call someone, even though it says data pack? Tia
    amour3k's avatar
    Yes and no.

Yes - as in, it's doable.

But, no - as in, without the necessary call bundle/top-up money added on top of it, etc etc?

    Then ...

    Hope that helps. :-)

Strange that the countries listed on this deal don't match the ones on the three website

    Do these have expire date?

I had some issues with these prepaid cards back in January last year. I bought 2 for a US trip and when I put them in the phones the credit had expired the month prior. I had only bought them a week ago so not very impressed. When I complained Three told me to speak to Amazon. Amazon told me to speak to Three. I eventually got my money back but it was a lot of hassle

I bought a couple of these on Amazon before prior to some to the USA last year. Both worked fine - I activated them in my phone the day before I travelled and had no issues.

I've just ordered another one for an upcoming trip, so thank you OP - heat added! (edited)

For using is USA do you not still have to pay the £5 per day to unlock the go roam worldwide on top of this?
    KrispiiDuck's avatar
    No!
