I've had CF for over 2 years now and paying £25 for 1gb p/month... Fairly decent speed with multiple concurrent usage... Mind I do on occasions have had a few drops.
    brownboy's avatar
Do they cap your speeds at all?

    London Only 🤦‍♀️

I only signed up for VM 2 months ago but knowing they will raise the prices in May this is the next best offer but surely they could not raise the rate within 6 months of an 18 mth contract?....I only have the Fibre and Phone
    flec's avatar
Unfortunately they probably can, the contract will state they can raise prices up to inflation + X% and they'll have done inflation + X% exactly.

I live in London and I get

    "Great news!

London's fastest 100% full fibre broadband is coming to your area.

Register your interest so that we can keep you informed about our services, special discounts and send your one month free code once we are live."

They put the fibre cabinets early last year. Their reps came but I told I still had 12 months left on my contract, which expires next month. Don't know what is the holding them up. (edited)

Problem is.... It's only available in London!

Two tier system I'm afraid, same with everything

Having been with them for a year. I can only say that performance varies drastically during the day, and if you ever want to test your patience try calling customer service or tech support.

    This is true.

I never understood the like 50 septillion companies building fiber in places that already has 20 quadrillion different broadband companies.

Like doesn't it make more sense to start your build in areas that have literally 0 fiber and gain a loyal following you know won't just instantly run somewhere else the moment a better deal comes up.

In my area (Haringey), Community Fibre is only coming here in 3 months because the council paid several million in subsidies.
  10. Onlydongles's avatar
Its clickbait. I ve registered 2 years ago and nothing so far. Yet they keep sending me emails about how good CF is !

The sales rep do not have a clue when and where it is being rolled out.

    Go figure.

"We are coming to your area" for about 2.5 years now
I'll probably move outside London before you get to me
Community Fibre is like a unicorn you hear of them but never see them
  12. Farkas's avatar
i will be long gone to grave when they will be availble in my area
  13. jnrs's avatar
They've been "coming soon" to my area for over a year now.

Anyone else ordered using this link? they have upped the amazon voucher by £10!
    bailey87's avatar
Pretty confusing Ts & Cs re being able to claim the voucher and TCB - despite the TCB BB compare tool clearly showing both together….

Gift card only eligible on online purchases made via the Giftcloud link provided. Offer not available for purchases made via the telephone or web chat. Offer not available through any other website or third party link, and cannot be claimed in conjunction with cashback or any other 3rd party offer.
  15. Fizzybottle786's avatar
Terms say amazon voucher isn't available if another party discount such as cashback is used, so does anyone know a loophole to still get the amazon voucher?
    quidmaster's avatar
The sales people literally throw themselves at you to give you the best deal. Sounds like they are on commission!
  16. bailey87's avatar
Curious - if I put my postcode into TCB, the deal doesn’t show. But if I use the one the OP has, it does. If I check via the community fibre website, I can get 920mbps. So not sure why it’s not showing on TCB for me….

24 months is a little bit of a commitment too - would prefer if you could get this deal for 12 months
    hi0parag's avatar
You need to reach out to TCB customer support to get their supplier database updated. You need to cite your postcode and the provider (Community Fibre) to be added. As their database may sometimes be out dated.

You may also directly reach out to broadband choices support (Decision technologies) who provide the TCB comparison tool

The reason to do this is to ensure you get the best deals.
  17. tommytbone1's avatar
I'd watch out using the links provided above to get this deal. Are you sure it will allow the users cashback to track with TCB? I'd personally log in and search TCB broadband compare then click through to the page supplied above. At least then you're making sure it's the correct workflow and you're logged in.

Good deal though OP. I'm interested in the 150mb
    SJ01's avatar
It was actually hard to get it through and even now I'm not sure the amazon one worked.

Waiting for years to give me a connection!
    SJ01's avatar
I waited just over a year even after they did the cabling.

What street is in London is this for this time ?
  20. ninp's avatar
It's not available in my part of London unfortunately
  21. misa426's avatar
I'm with them, very happy with the upload speed because it's symmetric.
    noobnoob's avatar
That's why I wish they would supply my area. Virgin headlines as fast but it's very asymmetric
  22. lanceuppercut's avatar
I've just signed up for the 300Mbps offering, coming from Virgin who offered to keep me at £26 until the end of my contract (which would've been November, lol), I declined and cancelled and went for a 24-month contract with CF for effectively £18.37/month for the duration.

I see with the Amazon voucher, I'll get an email, that's cool but how quickly does the TCB track/show on my account?
    nazx's avatar
Did you get an email from top cashback about the amazon voucher claim process? Also has TCB tracked now? Looking to sign up shortly..
  23. bailey87's avatar
    I'm tempted to sign up for the 900mb / 12 months / £29 a month / £66 TCB / £100 Amazon voucher....

Does that seem like a good deal?
  24. ultraal2003's avatar
Is this better than the £100 x 2 (referer + customer) deal right now, also would it stack with Quidco ?
    nazx's avatar
yes unless your referrer gives you their amazon voucher too
  25. nazx's avatar
I've signed up with a CF sales guy who came knocking at the door - 6 months free with no cashback to claim or anything so works out £20.67 per month for 24 months... think it may be better than going through the hassle of claiming cashback etc and the the guy who came at the door made his commission as well i'm sure which is good for him.. and means I won't pay anything for the first 6 months..
    iby2012's avatar
    For the 900 package?
  26. eakin's avatar
I signed up to this with the 'get deal' button on this page.
Was that the wrong thing to do in order to get the cashback?, should I manually have gone to the Topcashback compare?
    bailey87's avatar
If you’re not seeing any TCB on your earnings page, then yes
