These are great got a pair last year only little niggle is the low volume! Maybe I'm going deaf
    JC383's avatar
I had this then realised I'd turned the volume down on the headphone itself. Press right headphone once and it should increase the sound. Worked for me anyway.

Great price for these. I really trust this website's reviews of wireless earbuds and they rate them very well.

What are a good budget brand like Airpods? (same shape etc)

I picked up the P2 a couple of months ago and I can't say they're very good. They keep dropping one then both channels, even when I am sitting completely still on the couch at home watching something on a tablet about a foot and a half from the buds. They have to be powered off entirely to resync and they generally won't get through a 40 minute show without dropping. I don't know if these are better but given mine are the model above this I wouldn't hold much hope. (edited)

    Same problem with mine

I also have them. Pairing works well, battery life seems good. Sound quality is mediocre. Great for podcasts but pretty poor for music. I'm happy with them for what I paid (£20 iirc)
  6. blizeH's avatar
Just got these and I don’t know how best to explain this but I can both feel & hear them slipping out of my ears until they eventually pop-out?!

Have never had this before. Anyone else had this with these headphones? Thanks

I assume you've tried all three sizes of the included silicone buds? I tried changing the mid sized ones that came already attached with the smaller ones but that reduced the sound quality. I haven't tried the large ones but if you haven't tried swapping the silicone buds it might be worth a try.

Bought these for £19.99 last June & they're fine. No real connectivity issues. Sound is great for listening to podcasts & making / receiving calls. Ok for music if you're not an audiophile, the bass is passable but not mind blowing, I'd say they're comparable to the Pixel Buds A Series, but these have volume control with a tap on each earbud, which the Pixels don't. If sound quality is that important to you then I'd look at spending a bit more to upgrade, but for £16.99, I think they're a bargain.

How do these work if you just want to use one bud instead of two when doing things in a public area? do they work if one bud is still in the case?
    gravy_davey's avatar
    Yes
  9. NikLP's avatar
Are the buttons on these clicky or tappy? I got some of the Aukey cheapos recently and the tap to pause "feature" is an absolute nightmare.
    Leandro's avatar
The buttons are physical (clicky), not touch.

Just received them, seem good for the money, might be a bit big for my small ears but we'll see.
One question (it might be my stupidity, likely), when playing a list in Spotify, holding the button in of the right earbud for 2 seconds skips to the next track fine. However, doing the same for the left earbud just goes back to the start of the current track playing... Is that normal behaviour, is there not a way to skip back to a previous track/tracks as can be achieved skipping forward tracks with the right earbud? (edited)
    gravy_davey's avatar
Don’t have these buds but normally once a song has played a few seconds it goes back to the start but if you do it instantly (right at the start of the song) it’ll play the previous song. If you have to hold the button a couple seconds for it to skip maybe that’s cause a UI issue.

Qs: the manual mentions you can use them individually, but how do you set that up?

Also, I would like to use these at work, for intermittent Slack calls. If they turn off while I'm wearing them, how do I turn them on again, or will they engage automatically if there's a call or something? Bit of a grey area, niche usage etc.

Overall, pretty happy for the money.

    I believe...

When you put one back in the charge case it goes into mono/single mode.

    I believe...

As long as they are in your ear(s) they stay on until power runs out.

    Hope that helps @NikLP

I got one for my wife. She loves it, uses everyday for her train journey. I think it's just incredible that you can get something so useful for just £17.

These are great buds for the money and PAINT proof! I wear mine for work whilst decorating so they get loads of abuse. 3 weeks ago I dropped one into a pot of acrylic paint and didn't find it until a good 5 minutes later by which time I could only just about see it... Still works fine amazingly... At least you know your safe if you drop them in paint

These are brilliant for the money, I use them daily with no issues and the sound quality is great at this price point.

The biggest and most important thing for me however is these fit my ears perfectly, the best of any earbuds I have tried.

    Voted hot!
    hcc27's avatar
Fully agree. You'd struggle to do better in the sub £30 category.
  15. Igsteam's avatar
Can’t go wrong for this money. I have a pair, I found that music playback is much improved with careful placement of the bud in your ear. Great battery life, good range and easy to use.
  16. ChrisRX's avatar
I keep these at work as a spare pair and you definitely can't complain at this price. They don't sound amazing, but for 16 quid they do the job
    phil73's avatar
Agree. Even the advert says the sound is just "good" . I've listened to cheaper non branded ones which sound just as capable.

    Mic built-in?

yes.. but please do not expect a great call quality.

You really can't go wrong with these earbuds for the price. Not sure how long they'll last, but Anker give an 18 month warranty.

Personally I think Lenovo are the best cheapo wireless buds

    Still £16.99

Very happy with them. Landed today and I think they're a bargain. Sound quality is good enough for me, pretty rich to be fair after buying some compatible priced ones previously.
chuffed and they will be well used I'm sure. Second pair of ankers after the A1 life and less than £20. Go for it.

I have the P2, the pairing is great, no complaints about call quality. Sound quality wise they seem to emphasise treble, which is great for podcasts and audiobooks etc. but not so good for music, have to fiddle with EQ to take treble down a bit. Looks like these have two modes, hopefully bass mode is not so harsh on the treble
    hcc27's avatar
I have both the P2 and these, and I agree with you that the P2s emphasize the treble at the expense of the midrange and bass. These are awesome as you get a lot more midrange and bass. Much prefer the P2is. At this price an absolute steal.

    Heated.

How does this compare to p2 mini?
    drc's avatar
    Hi

Very similar when used. P2i case is bigger but a bit more study so they don't go flying out as easily when dropped. No big differences in sound. Main benefit of these is there is a physical button on these so when I'm wearing gloves walking the dogs I can still operate them. Recommend them both.
  24. Stevie_mower's avatar
What's the audio quality and microphone pick up like when taking phone calls?
    Decoded's avatar
Sound quality is very good for music, but phone calls just sound average but good enough for a conversation. (edited)
  25. humorleung's avatar
How's the mic? I bought a Lenovo LP5 recently the mic isn't particularly good.
  26. jamesginger393's avatar
I have a pair of old P2 life bought in 2020. I use them every night in bed just using 1 bud. Can these be used with just 1 or do you have to have both in.
    beblimp's avatar
    Yep has single bud mode
  27. Boabarinio's avatar
How is the call quality, I bought other ones for my partner and when I speak to her I can hardly hear for the background noise, for £99 you'd think the quality be better. I need a decent pair of Bluetooth ones that cancel background noise
  28. crack_shot's avatar
Anker gives you 80% of the quality of the big boys for a quarter of the price
Own their head phones after owning momentums and i was very impressed

dont get me wrong, you aren't getting bose noise reduction but you are getting a sound which is arguably better than sony or bose, and almost as good as sennheisers- imo which is subjective and YMMV

    Ordered - thanks

Needed something since the £9 ear buds from months back never came
Just ordered the white version - hoping exact same model!

Did anyone find any ear hooks/wings to use with these? I've found that when active they fall out.
