As a work around for the batt issue, if you find the conroller-batt wires you can connect any same voltage batt.

Probably because nobody in their right mind would pay £850 for such a basic, low quality bike
Could be worth a punt at £250 though
Dad is going up to see what they're like, if there is any left.

Very low price for an electric bike...but 18 miles on a full charge that takes 4 hours makes it of very limited use to most riders I'd have thought.

Avoid these bikes. Battery goes after a year or even less. I bought 2 bikes which is pretty much their brand. When I tried returning the guys at the desk said they’re getting loads returned because of the battery issue. Batteries cost £130-£150 on 3bay

That's quite cheap been looking for a battery for an Appollo Phaze can only find at Halfords for £265

People are queueing up to buy the bikes available. Probably don’t have much chance of grabbing one if you were to get there now. Some models available for £180 though!

Argos website says battery 1.55 kg. The battery is integrated into the frame (edited)
