Avoid !!! Brought it when it came out, the amount of times it stopped in the middle of my run on the treadmill was beyond me why someone would invent something that doesn't do its job a fitness tracker without tracking your fitness.

The software updates seem to make it even more worse only had one update since it came out, watch faces are very limited.

If you want to track only your steps then get this it's probably within margin of error.

But a big but if you want tracking data on your exercise then go for something well known and reliable, Apple watch Samsung galaxy but if you want to throw money down the drain then get this.

49627463-iAIGx.jpgHad it since China launch, very impressed with it, battery life is easily over a week, paid £55 from Ali Express.
The £85 UK Xiaomi price is insane.
    This deal is excellent value.
Can't answer calls or texts on it, as in reply via the watch, but will notify of calls, and read only for notifications.

    Recommended.

Anyone know if you can sync workouts with Strava?
    stanno's avatar
To answer my own question - yes, if you pair with the right app. Confusingly there are 2 companion apps - Zepp Life and Zepp. Zepp Life won't pair with Strava but Zepp will. It took me ages to work this out as there was no explanation anywhere on the web. If you have paired it with Zepp Life, you first have to un-pair it from that and also from your phone's BT list. Then you can pair it with Zepp and link it to your Strava account. (edited)

This watch is c**p. So many problems don't know where to start. Final straw today was it saying it was overheating in the sauna and turned itself off - can't be turned on until you connect to the charger.

I've had every band since the Mi 2 and they've all been great. This is a major step backwards!
    .
Problem is they're charging £5 to return. Going to have to Ebay it instead.

From Memory once you pair it to your phone the watch takes on the phone's language

So tempted and then read the reviews on the UK site at almost twice the price.

Is this worth the upgrade from Honor Band 6?

Looks a great price. I cannot see enough new features thought apart from the spo2 oxygen from the original amazfit bip from around five years ago. It's hard to beat the original launch products for value like the original f1 poco. They make their reputation off the big initial releases. This has a nice glossy amoled screen but I prefer the lower res as it gives 45 day battery life.

How accurate is these for heart rate monitoring?
    The_Hoff's avatar
What you mean is, are these consistently inaccurate to the same degree?

All of the wrist based HRMS are best assumed to be indications and nothing more, chest strap is the best route. They're like +/-20% as a technology regardless of manufacturer.

Decided to order this as a replacement for my Mi Band 5 which has been good but seen better days.

Hopefully, this is a bit of an upgrade on the 5.

£47.35 using my Halifax Clarity card so an extra £1 off.
