sorted byThanks for your patience. I’ve checked to see when/if you’ll be affected by this years price increase and it only applies to those who went live on our Broadband prior to the 24/Feb/23, as you mentioned your order date was 19/Feb/23 and your connection is not due to go live till 27/March/23 – you will not have a price increase this year. I hope this helps clear things up for you
Time will tell of course...! Hope this helps someone in a similar position. (edited)

Everytime I click on the deal, and realise it's not for existing broadband customers...
Sorry.
Anybody got any experience with Vodafone's Full Fibre service before I make any kind of switch. Are they reliable? Speeds consistent etc?
TIA
The router Vodafone provide is pretty basic but has worked fine for me. The max speed I get over WiFi is around 600mb. Streaming, downloading, uploading and gaming have been totally smooth so I've been pretty happy with the service so far. (edited)
Considering Vodafone (via Openreach) 500MB vs Virgin 500MB. Using my own mesh wifi system so their equipment isn't a concern. My priorities are reliability and consistency (i.e. getting decent ping times and speeds almost all day).
Not really a huge downloader so raw speed isn't the main thing for me.
I was on Virgin in a different home a couple of years ago and that was pretty reliable - probably only had 2 days of downtime over 2 years.
Any opinions on either right now?
Virgin want £60 now for our 200m. Tried cancelling yesterday and got messed around for 45mins on the phone and passed to 4 different VM staff members (one of who worked in tech and had no idea why I'd been transferred). The crappy customer service sealed the deal. I'm out.
The savings with a Vodafone mobile are a perk.
Couple of questions. If I've had VM fibre at the house will an engineer need to come to install?
Is the supplied router any good or worth buying a proper one with the amazon voucher?
Cheers
Then because my package was a 3 years contract with 1st year free. Even though Direct Debit was all setup correctly at the time of order, after the first 12 months, Vodafone never start taking DD, so my account was put into payment overdue status and penalty charge was also put on, and all this time there was no email or phone contact saying payment was due! I just expected after the first 12 months Voda would start automatically taking DD, still did not get a reason why it didn't. So another round of phone calls were needed to sort that out.
Once it's up and running (using Openreach FTTC), it has been reliable and the router signal/coverage is acceptable. It's just the customer service when something goes wrong that's the worry/problem. (edited)
Was on broadband only, 250mb @ £36pm. They called me today to offer 350mb @ £20pm for 18 months.
Was going to switch to Vodafone, but staying w Virgin now.
Might be worth waiting for Retentions to call
When does the status change to Purchased for the voucher?
Pleasantly surprised with Vodafone router. It has a good range that is comparable to my own TP-Link XE75 (WiFi 6E), albeit it was a WiFi 5 router. Ping is 15ms on Vodafone router, and 20ms on XE75, surprisingly.
Get the broadband PPPoE credential via online chat - no issue.
We can get the Vodafone 500Mb deal (£29 p/m) in our area so we've gone for that. Hopefully the £135 gift card will track ok on that. That's a good selection of companies. Some times you get the love2shop cards that only apply to retailers we never use. Either Amazon or Tesco would be very useful for us.
*Edit - remebered i entered an email, just tracked gift and the purchase is not confirmed yet. Anyone else the same?
Voucher only for new customers (edited)
it will be misleading if they do and can be cancelled - though I believe it wont increase this year.
With regards to the gift card, is an email sent to you in due course? (edited)
Are they still funny about giving login details for router? I remember having to try several live chat agents a few years back
These are the only options its giving me… (edited)
Worth a shot - wish I had seen yesterday before I ordered!
