Bit of a bargain I think.

For those that missed the Fuji deal, this is a lot of bike for the money...especially in 2023.

Alu frame and fork, sora groupset. The 11/30 rear cassette should get you up most climbs fine ;-)

Merlin bikes are very good and well respected

51cm and 54cm in stock at time of posting. For reference I'm 5ft 8in with a 30inch leg and I ride a 51cm

RRP £849 ? It's probably worth £425, no more (edited)

Maybe a few years ago, but prices are insane for bikes at the moment...you're looking at microshift, or potentially tourney on the majority of £500ish bikes.

I agree the rrp looks steep, but sora for this price is very rare

OMG, I was trying to replace my Sora groupset and it cost roughly as this bike.
    Awesome deal OP

Agree I gave up and bought a 2nd hand bike with the group set I wanted in the end

That's a great spec for the price.
Not a huge fan of the graphics on it but I'd live with it for the price.

There's a review of its cheaper stablemate (which seems to be the same frame with cheaper components) here: bikeradar.com/rev…ew/

Seems pretty good for budget road bike/commuter bike.

Alloy fork will give poor ride quality, a carbon fork on an alloy frame dampens road vibrations for an improved smoother ride

    Or fir wider tyres.

Looks a good deal for someone starting road biking but wizard? Could they not think of a better brand name?

I have signed up to the 100 mile ride in London, I only have a Hybrid atm (Whyte - Cambridge). Would this be suitable?

Absolutely, I would be happy to do the ride 100 on it
