1800-3300rpm, surely a potential for noise, no? The old fans were great, so fingers crossed for these, I just think we will end up holding them back in the BIOS to save our ears. Arctic never fail to give great performance for the money, so I hope these keep the tradition alive. Super price if they can! Great find..

Retailers are extending their return policies for Christmas: Full List of Shops Extending Returns Policies for Christmas
Early launch price. Rrp is €12.99 (likely £12.99) but launching at a reduced price.
Possible the best bang for buck fan on the market (the previous p12 non max was already up there)
OPTIMISED FOR STATIC PRESSURE: Due to the high static pressure, the fan guarantees efficient cooling even with increased air resistance. Ideal for use on heatsinks & radiators
PROVEN FAN DESIGN: The closed ring fan wheel enables low-vibration rotation at high speeds and strong resistances while maintaining high static pressure
WIDE RPM RANGE: Thanks to the 4-pin connector, the speed can be controlled via PWM. Below 5 % PWM the fan stands still, above 5 % it is infinitely variable between 200-3300 rpm
DESIGNED FOR PERFORMANCE: The ball bearings allow the P12 Max to operate 24/7, even at sustained high speeds, without compromising performance or increasing noise
TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 200-3300 rpm, Airflow: 81.04 cfm | 137.69 m³/h, Static pressure: 4.35 mm H2O, Noise level: 0.6 Sone

(5) Your Favorite Fan just got SO MUCH Better! - YouTube - Did they fix the buzzing / Humm at around 1000 Rpm or is it still a problem ?AuthorAccording to reviews on YT, yes. Dual ballbearing on these. Very quiet up to about 2000rpm I believe.
- Does this have the PST functionality?AuthorNo. Due to higher amp rating. 0.29a on these.
- Well an update, and it's not good! Out of 3 one seems ok, one came with a scratched blade (not the end of the world but poor QC) and the worst which I've read on a amazon review as well. The motor is making a noise as the blades are not flat, you can see it on one corner the outer blade frame out higher on one corner.
So for anyone that's ordered take a good look before going to the hassle of fitting. A visual check and power them up to check the motor before you start would be a very good idea.
I've been refunded for the 2 and messaged Arctic, will update when I hear back from them.AuthorEither you were unlucky or I was lucky (hopefully the former as generally arctic are solid) as all three of mine were absolutely fine. Got them mounted on my aio. Decent temps. Very loud at max speed but that's to be expected ha. They're now back on Amazon at 11.49 each but OOS. Need three more for my 3 exhaust now - Static Pressure: 4.35 mm H₂O. Not that high for 3300RPM but if it's sound level is good it's a compromise worth making.CFM/Noise/Static Pressure ratings from manufacturers are entirely useless as they all use different methods to produce their numbers.
From the independent reviews I've seen so far, noise normalized these are about as good as the Noctua A12X25, which are about as good as the Gentle Typhoons, which are about as good as the Bequiet SW4, which are about as good as the *insert modern swept blades design here*. 120X25mm fans are largely a solved problem so out of the top performers, you just get whichever is cheaper. (edited) - just seen the review on YT, look really good for tghe price, i have the older P12 so gettin gthese to replaceAuthorYeah I ordered 3 to fit on my liquid freezer ii 360.
- I've got some spare p12s and wanted to replace the 120mm fan on the DeepCool AK400 (gets a bit noisy when ramping up) but when I got to do it I noticed they don't have the anti vibration pads. I'll get this ordered instead, thanks! It will be all Arctic in the case (edited)
- Delivery update:
FREE delivery Monday, March 20 if you spend £20 on items dispatched by Amazon
Or fastest delivery March 18 - 19. - AuthorFor those put off by long delivery. These were ordered 4th march. Arriving 8th march.Same, mine are coming tomorrow
- No RGB's for cooler tempsAuthorSadly not. I was about to get the argb p12. But. Performance > looks. Especially as pc under a desk. They have p14 max incoming soon. Also black only.
- 30th March delivery, but ordered some anywaysAuthorSame. I imagine they'll come sooner
- Phantek's new fan, also under £10 shifts the same amount of air at 2000 RPM
phanteks.com/PH-…tml
Why wasn't that one in the comparison?AuthorStatic pressure is only about 60% though. Still a solid fan (the Phanteks) - I got 3 of these on my arctic freeze ii 360 and 3 in the case. I set them to 800rpm manual which is more than enough to push and pull air and they are very quiet. Just ordered another for rear exhaust fan. The pmw pst version are decent too you can just connect to each other and then one to fan header and it works great. My cpu temps never go above 60 when gaming so they do a good job on airflow. I just can’t justify overpaying for fans especially when you can get 3 or 5 for the price of 1 noctua. Sure no rgb but I turn off rgb anyway so I don’t mind. Keeping my eye for some p12 slim to try fit them into the side of the 5000d case which would look nice if it works with the cable cover on. (edited)AuthorThe fact you mention pst I'm guessing you're referring to the original p12's and not these p12 max? These don't have pst unfortunately. The original p12 are great fans though for the price, which I currently have.
