sorted byForza Horizon 5 is great open world arcade experience that's just fun to cruise around with a wheel (just wish it was in VR). Project cars 2 is a really fun sim (great in VR too), I'm not a fan of Assetto Corsa, feels too easy like I'm on rails, even with all the assists off but lots of people love it.
Wreckfest is a good modern Destruction Derby type game, although not sure I preferer it on a pad or a wheel.
They you've got stuff like Truck simulators which can be fun, defo enhanced by a wheel & pedals, also Lawnmowing Simulator, Bus Simulator etc.
Snow Runner/Mud runner are great off-road games with really good mud physics, it can get frustrating tho.
If you liked any old racing arcades, e.g. OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast (my fave arcade), Daytona USA, Crazy Taxy etc, you can use emulators to play them properly with a wheel, in fact there's a whole world of console emulation you could get into, the likes of Gran Turismo 5 upscaled to 4k is nice, Mario Kart 8 on CEMU in 4k looks better than it does on the Switch, and theres obviously HUNDREDS more titles out there going back decades.. [The power of your PC will dictate what you can/can't run at playable frame rates the more modern you go].
Dirt Rally 2.0 is my fave rally game.
My favourite racing physics in a game is Rfactor but setup time to get this [proper] simulator right was ridiculous and by todays standards (even by standards back then) graphics are potatoesque, there's also a sequel (that I've not played) too.
BeamNG.drive has some incredible car physics, endless fun crashing stuff.
F1 22 - doesnt need explaining.
I'm out of ideas now. (edited)
Had a look on ebay and a power cable is about £20
Might be helpful in title.
Hot deal.
Everything was their including all the cables and the original box.
It looked like new apart from some stick stuff/smudge marks of the front...which you cannot see from the steering wheel side and would likely wipe off with alcohol cleaner.
I've never been in to car racing games before buying this....but I've become addicted to it !! It's just a completely different level of interaction and well worth this price.
the real question would it work on ps2?
quite a good read on gt7 with logitech g923 which is very similar to g29 but has slightly better vibrations apparently
without pressing. Anyone else seen what theirs looks like in there? Wondering if its like this by default or just mine (edited)
