I purchased this TV last week. Annoying that I missed out on the £100 voucher as could have put it towards an ATV box.

This is my take if anyone finds it useful.

I have watched a range of content from Standard Sky HD feeds, Sky FHD feeds, Netflix, Disney+ and Youtube.

Picture quality is outstanding especially when being feed 4k content, Watched the Newcastle game on Sunday in FHD and was blown away with how good it looked considering the extra screen size moving from a 55 inch. Standard HD stuff on SKY also looks great at 9ft away. SD TV is more than watchable and the TV does a good job at upscaling, it softer but that is to be accepted and was also true on my previous Sony.

Dolby Vision and HDR content on Netflix / Disney+ looked amazing as you would expect, true black is noticeable coming from Multi zone backlight TV with the picture feeling like it has more depth and consistency, especially in darker scenes which also contain brighter elements.

Youtube 4k HDR demo material looks amazing, it looked great on my Sony but it just pops on the Panasonic and that is going from 55 to 65 inches as well.

Watching TV / Films on a 65inch over the 55inch is surprisingly more immersive.

My biggest concern was daytime viewing with the OLED but it has not been an issue at all. Even with daylight streaming through both windows at no point have I thought the image is not bright enough when watching daytime TV.

There are a couple of things that have annoyed me about the TV and these are the Apps available through the Panasonic store. The Apple TV App is the Apple TV+ app which means I have no access to my purchased Apple TV library. Also the Youtube app appears to be some sort of web app which means whilst youtube videos are playing in 4k HDR my purchased library appears capped to 720p. This means I am going to have to purchase a media streaming dongle for the TV and will probably go for the ATV 4k. So bear this in mind if these things are important to you as it will mean additional cost.

The TV looks smart, the pivot stand is useful.

Only had a days testing out of it so far but have no regrets and am really pleased.

TV Settings wise I have set all apps and streaming to use Filmaker Mode, Sky TV I have set to Professional 2.

Over the next week I will have a play with the settings.

Thank you for a detailed comment! Do you think it’s suitable for a wall mount?

I own this TV if anyone has any questions. Have to say it's amazing and well worth it. No calibration needed with filmmaker mode.

Hi mate do you think it`s bright enough because the lz1500 is supposed to be brighter so i am debating on this or the lz1500....thanks

If you want a 65” with a budget under £1500 then buy this and ask questions later

    Is it that good ???

Only thing stopping me is this is not an evo panel. Coming from an LG 55" B7 this wouldn't be enough of an upgrade apart from the size

This TV Comes with an LG OLED EX panel which is the equivalent to an LG Evo

Used to love Panasonic but don't think I could buy again . Bought the flagship dx902 5/6 years ago and an LG E7 oled the following year. The Panasonic received updates for 3 years and then nothing, so many apps now not available so had to buy a firestick. The LG is still regularly updated and is good as new. Sadly I do feel Panasonic don't really care once the sale is made😥

DX902 is still one of the best LCDs ever sold. I think Pana deserve credit for that being a 2016 model. I will hold onto mine until. . .I can't even say it. A fire stick is a small price to pay to keep her going!

Feels like the 77 inch deals are never gonna come

I think if you are looking at 77's, you are always going to need to pull your wallet out. And the manufacturers know that!
