Please note that the TV itself is identical to the 2022 model, so if you wanted just the TV then better to look out for 2022 models.

The 2023 model has a small improvement over the 2022 model which I think is worth it. The panel has a matte finish to minimise reflections and improve the look so it's closer to looking like a piece of artwork.

I have the 2021 version of this TV and love it, but a matte finish would be a significant improvement for us as we get light bouncing in off our window. So a worthwhile enhancement in my opinion.

Worth noting that the John Lewis delivery guys are the ones that mount the TV on your wall, and they have no idea what they are doing. Got them to install one 2 years, thankfully the wrong holes they drilled in the wall are covered by the TV, took them 2 hours too!

I had mine installed last week and the delivery guys were great. They fitted it on a stud wall which I thought was going to be a problem, but wasn’t. They also measured out my tv to show how it would look where I requested it to be etc. Not all of them are bad apples I guess

We have the 50 inch 2022 model in our bedroom and I would highly recommend as they really do blend into the background when not in use. We wanted a TV in the bedroom but didn't want it to look like we have a TV if you know what I mean. Anyways, we were very happy with the result, and the TV image is very good.

How do you watch tv at the kind of angle in bed. Your poor neck

I find some of the comments on this funny. If you want a better TV buy one. If you want one that blends in this is the TV to get. We have one as a second TV mounted above the fireplace in our family room with floor to ceiling windows and it's perfect in bright sunlight. Yes it struggles in dark scenes but what TV wouldn't in that environment. The frame is thinner than any other TV which is enabled by the remote box it looks like a picture and can blend in with other artwork. For us it's perfect as it's not the focal point of the room. If LG made one similar I would obviously take a look but the don't.

I have the 2021 model (all very similar) I also have a 55 inch LG c1 I would recommend getting the oled LG equivalent now to be honest. It’s light and day the difference between then and the photo mode is a gimmick really. Although don’t get me wrong very good set.

Agree, I just got a G2 and it's CONSIDERABLY better. We got kind of sick of the art mode (and it's electricity usage) so rarely had it on by the end and also after we cancelled the subscription, the art selection left was crap

Never used art mode on my Samsung TV ( have my tv from 2020) in my opinion waste of money if someone wants to pay more for this option.

Just don’t touch the screen lol

Why does it produce a really blurry picture?

Isn't it about time these were oled? Seems a much better fit for the product type.
    Ario92's avatar
It's Samsung though so they'd always produce a QLED over an OLED

I just sold the 2021, TV looks nice but the black levels are awful and it doesn't go bright enough - dark scenes in films were unwatchable

Where do you think best place to sell a TV is? Marketplace ?

Always wanted one of these but the actual specs of set and quality of the screen are very poor for the price tag. Get an OLED for this money and spend £50 building your own frame
