Are these the cars what were all stuck waiting for charge point at a service station, last winter..

Had a Tesla for 5 years and driven in multiple countries, done around 100k miles. Never once queued. It’s a lot more convenient then petrol. Try and and you will see.

Great car and not bad price - if someone want a feedback from a Tesla driver, DM me and I will be happy to help with any questions etc.

Wouldn’t be a problem driving an EV if the electric came from a green source. Burn that gas to charge them up!

In the uk, the main source is renewables at just over 50% approx. This combines all the reneables.

Taking just wind alone for 3 months this beat gas to the top spot for that one type of renwables alone. Vs less than 2% for coal.

About 2 years ago coal usage was huge. Things are already getting better each month.

Ps. That wind power for 3 months was enough to power 300million teslas.

This was intended as a specific deal for people who are looking to buy Model Y in next few weeks who dont like Pearl White standard paint and want the White interior.

The deal is not intended to convince you to buy an EV or a Tesla it is intended for those who have already decided that EV, Tesla and Model Y are a great choice. Like i did in March!

Pearl white used to be a premium option, I paid near three grand for that! Bugs me they made that standard but it is what it is.

Not bashing this deal, electric cars need to be cheaper far cheaper. Plus they aren't that green or as good for the environment as they make out.

Sure I read that Skoda are going to come out with an electric car for around £22000 soon?
    Half the price of Tesla!

Model Y is on course to become the best selling car in 2023, beating Toyota Corolla

I just don't like the look of Teala's. I am tempted with an EV esp as I don't do half the milage I used to.

The infrastructure or lack of it scares me .

But I do like the look of a Polestar
    Minstadave's avatar
    Minstadave
Infrastructure is a mess for non-Tesla charging but with >200 miles range I think I've charged away from home maybe 3 or 4 times on a
journey in 2 and a half years. Longer journeys we just find a destination with a charger. (edited)

Anyone else getting really bored with the ignorance of those spouting against ev?
    paulde2007's avatar
    paulde2007
I think you are being unfair.

I'm guessing you're an ev owner and as a result can talk about the pros and cons of having one.

On the flip side we have those anti ev people talking about their first hand experiences of evs.... oh wait, that's right they don't have any and go off headlines in the oil owned media.

I love my Tesla M3, so I thought I would get in early before the naysayers, with the can not put the heat on in winter, air conditioning on in summer, range being rubbish, battery degrading etc, etc etc. Oh and recently a chap told me that you can not use a Tesla in Canada because it is too cold for the batteries to cope.

Oh damn it I was too late. (edited)

The standard price is £44990 so not sure why you would post a deal for this price and no explanation its RWD not Long Range, the actual cheapest RWD price on the site for a standard RWD is £43,370

The EV people are sort of like people from Canvey Island, always on the defence , ready to spring on anyone who dares say anything about Canvey.

always ready to pounce, if the EV is judged…a rare breed.

The long range was on offer just under 50k a couple of days ago. I’d go for that
    hootz's avatar
    hootz
Yes they have priced them to sell the Long Range over this RWD model, in both cases most people won't even use anywhere near the capacity of the car on a daily basis

Hive? So if a builder, or painter, or any skilled person was always busy, what would you call it.... in demand because they are good

Same goes for teslas. Many good things about it.

Let's not fall into the let's hate teslas trap.
Just give credit where credit is due
