We find that it’s cheaper to go to Alton towers than Drayton manor and it’s rare to get discount for Drayton manor but can often get a free adult at Alton towers.
Not cheaper any more as the "regular price" for AT has gone up a lot. If you have a Kelloggs code it is £68 for two people for Alton Towers. Drayton Manor is £30-40 depending on the day you book for, but almost always under £68 for two.
So depends on the age of the people visiting as Alton Towers has a lot more big coasters but DM is better for children. (edited)
If you know anyone with an annual pass you can get family and friends discounted entry for £20 . Alternatively people sell these on the likes of eBay for about £3 for the code so entry would cost you a total of £23 in the end .
