- The MIPS system is a low-friction layer that allows a sliding motion of 10 to 15mm in all directions. Studies indicate that this reduces some of the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during angled impacts.

sorted byalso although very comfy, i dont like the look very bulky, i suppose its compromise to afford intact head.

There are lighter, slimmer and more comfortable helmets on the market BUT for the price this helmet is unbeatable. (edited)
I wear a 59cm motorcycle lid which sort of puts me between sizes - do they fit tight? Narrow? Loose? Wide?
Any thoughts much appreciated.
