    Anyone?

Yes, if you can provide an email ending in .ac.uk
  4. Cityslicker21's avatar
How do I get a .ac.uk email account, without being a student?
    clownfish's avatar
By enrolling at a uni and not turning up to lectures.
  5. Cyril_Blake's avatar
Had the Totum pro reduced price for a bit, but now I just can't be bothered. You quickly get used to being without Prime.
    Jim1_Smith's avatar
Yeah, prime is something you get used to having but once it's gone, I dont really miss it. While you can get free delivery to their lockers, I dont see any point in me paying for this - the prime tv has never had a great deal I'm interested in.
  6. Gav_881's avatar
Unfortunately they stop your student ness after 4 years 😔

    Oh, how will you survive.

If you cancel your existing prime membership will you be eligible for the trial?
    donotneed's avatar
Not if you have used the 6 months trial in the past on the same account. 7 days free

I used this trial without having to show proof

How? Does it say same thing as my last post become a paid member? Does that mean paid after the 6 months period?

This has been going on for years; why is this being allowed as a new deal?
    jumbosausage's avatar
Not everyone may be aware, so the occasional reminder is going to benefit new students and new members.

I’ve been a student at Amazon for 9 years now I think.

I should really have a Prime PHD.
    mottok's avatar
How on earth have you managed that?? I get the "maximum 4 year" message now :-(

Anyone else fuming about how they have changed Amazon music? It's totally useless now and it was the shred of why I remained subscribed.

Amazon are headed for disaster and I'm putting £3k on a negative stock outcome, they've peaked and will learn the hard way. Free deliveries is great but the tv benefits are weak against the competition but the music made up for it.
    jinkssick2's avatar
Good luck with those 3k. Hehe

I used the totom trick with an open university course last time (approx 3 years ago)

Last week prime student emailed me to say my 3 year plan will run out in June and that I need to send a letter with my course end date on it, to renew student prime,

No idea how I am supposed to get round that as Totum didn't show my course end date as it was a free open university course

Any idea at all how you got prime to renew mate ?

Did you just blag it with their web chat ?

I've been a student on Amazon for years. Keep thinking this will be the year the discount drops, but no. It's probably the only streamer I won't drop due to the prime benefits. Heck subscribe and save probably pays the monthly cost in discounts I pick vs supermarket deals.

Can 14 year old those in school subscribe using school email?

As long as he/she/they have an ac email address, I suppose you could use it on their behalf

For some very strange reason Amazon about 12 months ago thought I was a student ( I’m 50 ) so I’m using Prime as a student and currently paying £4.49 a month. Tried signing out of my student prime account then used the link signed back in and didn’t get this offer!
    sheffield788's avatar
They gave me that as well about 18 month ago, just out of the blue. Plus a few months free at the beginning. Now I'm on 2nd yearly plan. Not as cheap as it was last year, but still fine. It has been about 25 years since I was a student. No complaints here. (edited)

Can one sign up with any .ac.uk email or does it have to be one that's associated with a university? Also can you use it again if you've already used it once but it's now reverted to a normal membership after 4 years? (edited)
  35. ridgers84's avatar
I don’t know how but I’ve had Amazon prime student for the last 5 years without any hassle. I just signed up using my gmail account that was already registered with Amazon and a monthly Student price payment has come out ever since. Has saved me a fortune. I’m not complaining though. Long may it last!
    ted5680's avatar
Hmm just had a email from Amazon Members are only allowed a maximum 4 years of Amazon Prime Student benefits? Not sure how to get around that?
  36. Erooz's avatar
I started to apply once but didn't have the correct email etc. A month ago I had an email with this offer so obviously accepted, this was just on the email I've had with Amazon for years.
  37. cbnb_b's avatar
Can someone provide a Dummies Guide. Please
  38. ted5680's avatar
Hi my account is. Saying now “Members are only allowed a maximum 4 years of Amazon Prime Student benefits” I can’t renew it. Is there a way around this? Besides opening a new account?
    Dym0r's avatar
Unfortunately no, I've the same 'problem'.
  39. jcg's avatar
Are existing full-paying Prime members eligible for this?
    Brunt87's avatar
If you are eligible you should be. I remember I was a full prime member, then became a student. When I emailed them, they refunded the extra that I'd paid for the year and then the next 3 years it stayed at the lower price.
  40. ardrave's avatar
Can you add multiple addresses to student prime?
    Monaco.Blue's avatar
Yes. The student prime account in our household is littered with addresses.
