Good chance of getting locked in for a couple of years.....best not visit a country that is so keen to dispense with civil liberties! (edited)

Well, Practice makes perfect. Many people would like to believe what they saw on the Twitter. I don't like this deal because its price and stopover policy. I would like to recommend Etihad or Emirates.

Cheap but don't think I will be flying with this airline as there is still an ongoing investigation into a crash last year.

would it stop you from buying a car from Skoda if someone crashed theirs last year?

Clearly there is a good chance, looking at these comments, of losing my life or possibly a limb by taking this offer.

    Heat. (edited)

I personally wouldn't go near them, they have reportedly stolen a whole plane through espionage and its being launched possibly within a month or so, full story here and a spy doing some serious time in prison! This plane will NEVER get FAA approval to enter US airspace.

This is USA they think everything China do is all spying. It looks like a boeing 737 etc? of course it does it's a commercial plane what do they want it to look like a triangle body with circular wings?

I wouldn't go there... Have you seen lord of the rings? They have orcs there! Not to mention Sauron.

    That's nothing.

Have you seen Bad Taste? They have man-eating aliens.

    Not voting either way.

LON to AKL in business class is bad enough and China Eastern wouldn't be my go to airline.

It's too risky to stopover in China.

I took a flight from Melbourne to Manchester with Etihad Airline last year. It had a better price. It is a better choice stopover in middle east when you travel to Australia or New Zealand.
