Bring all your entertainment to life with the brilliantly realistic sound of Arc, featuring Dolby Atmos. You can control this smart soundbar with your TV remote, your voice, the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and more.

3D sound with Dolby Atmos
Experience shows, movies, and games with the precise and immersive sound of Dolby Atmos. Arc's upward-firing speaker drivers create a multi-dimensional soundstage that moves around you, rendering every whisper and explosion with dramatic clarity, detail, and depth (this requires a TV that supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Atmos-encoded content).

A realistic listening experience
Arc's advanced processing creates five phased-array channels that deliver sound to your ears from all directions at the exact right moment.

Enhanced tuning
Enhanced Trueplay tuning technology optimises the sound for the unique acoustics of the room. It even calibrates the height channels for precise localisation.

Immerse yourself in music
You can stream music, radio, podcasts, and more from your favourite services with the Sonos app* (available on iOS and Android) or Apple AirPlay 2 when the TV is off. Some services may require subscription.

Extraordinary sound
A truly powerful soundbar, the Arc has eleven high-performance drivers, including custom elliptical woofers and angled side tweeters, producing vivid detail and impressive bass. It was specially tuned with the help of Oscar-winning sound engineers to emphasise the human voice so you can always hear every word. You can turn on Speech Enhancement in the app to clarify dialogue when characters talk quietly or action intensifies. Trueplay puts the speaker-tuning capability of the pros in the palm of your hands, adapting and optimising the sound of the speaker to the unique acoustics of the room. Its increased bandwidth supports high-quality audio and has lip-sync compensation built in.

Elegant design
Easily play, pause, skip tracks, adjust the volume, and group rooms just by tapping or swiping the top of the soundbar. With its elongated shape, soft profile, and seamless facade, Arc discreetly mounts to the wall or sits beneath the TV without pulling focus. A magnetic sensor detects when it's mounted and smartly adjusts the EQ to temper bass resonance. And with its ambient light sensor, Arc detects how bright the room is and automatically adjusts the brightness of the LEDs to be visible but not distracting.

Voice control
The Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are built in, so you can play music, check news, set alarms, get your questions answered, and more, completely hands free. With an easy mute for privacy, you can turn the microphone off with a tap. The LED light is hardwired and will also turn off so you know your voice assistant isn't listening when required.

Seamless connection
Arc connects to your TV's HDMI eARC port with a single cable and automatically syncs with your remote.

Expandable
Stream via your WiFi network, and you can wirelessly connect more Sonos speakers to expand your sound system throughout the home. You could wirelessly connect a Sonos Sub and a pair of Sonos One SL rear speakers for an even more immersively cinematic listening experience.

Automatic software updates
Sonos regularly adds new features, voice assistants, services, and partner integrations, so your experience is always up-to-date.

*You must download this app to set the Sonos Arc up. A Spotify Premium account is required to use Spotify services on Sonos.

    Are these really that good
as I brought the Bose 600 and my new Sony tv actually sounded better without it so it went back
wasn’t sure whether to go for this or a Sony compatible sound bar that uses the tv as a centre speaker
no stores near me have the sound bars set up to TVs to listen to just stream music from their phones to demo

Just to add my input, I do think that the whole Atmos thing is mainly marketing. I have a mate who has spent thousands on a dedicated Atmos system with speakers in the ceiling. Does it sound good? Of course! Does it sound significantly better than my old 5.1.......in my opinion, no.
I have a Samsung Q930b. Can I tell I significant difference between this and other non Atmos soundbars? No I can't

This or the B&W panorama 3 for £499?

Got to be this, for the expandability (if that's a word) for the future. No option to add anything extra on the B&W?

I was about to buy a second hand one at £600 last week so this deal was a no brainier. Just need to pluck up the courage to tell the wife. Any good deals on alcohol?

No bass speaker these days? really that good?

Buying the subwoofer transforms the Arc, as does adding surrounds. You aren’t getting a lot of bass out of it without the sub.

well most soundbars give you the option of their own wireless sub ...and have a sub out connection if you want to add your own...my yamaha one does ....i wanted to keep my bk woofer so needed the connection (edited)

Wanted one of these since it came out but too much money (used to be £799). Ordered from JL with voucher and through the BA Estore to get 1646 avios. (edited)

Really wanted to get one of these...or a Beam...with wireless rears for a super-duper cinema room, however, there doesn't seem to be any easy way of connecting to a projector without buying extra kit! Bit of a lacking 'home cinema' speaker option IMHO:(

You mean an extra HDMI lead? Most projectors have ARC and most new ones should have eARC. The extra kit is one lead.

I run ARC and ERA 300s with sub. It’s brilliant.

Are these actually a good contender to replacing a 5.1 system?
I have a tannoy sub and Morduant Short Genie system I've had for many many years (edited)

No, a soundbar on its own will never be a good contender for replacing a 5.1 system. If you add the surrounds and sub then it is, but at a hefty price. I paid as it is worth it to not have cabling in my setup (besides the power cables obviously) but any dedicated surround system will outperform this, even more so the Arc on its own.

Are the mounting holes on the arc the same as the beam? Currently got the beam but the bracket attached to the wall that it’s mounted on, can I just swap the beam for an arc with the same bracket?

Doubt it. The ARC is over 1m in length. It’s a big boy. (edited)

worth replacing a playbar with this? Have ones and sub already so really just the spatial stuff that's missing?

I have done just the thing. Normal tv is noticeably better but the big difference is when watching content with Dolby Atmos. Massive difference from the Playbar, which I have had for around 8 years and have always been happy with.
For this price, and if you have the sub, go for it.

I have the full kit and i would say the Arc is underwhelming as a single soundbar but if you add ones and a sub then you get the full experience. So don’t buy this and expect major improvements (edited)

I've already got playbar, 2 x ones and a gen 2 sub. So really just the spatial stuff but reading up on TV ARC (which mine has) versus eARC may not get much uplift in audio without upgrading tv. Anyone running with a non-eArc tv who can comment?
