Product Information

The Charge Spoon Saddle is extremely popular for all XC, Trail, Enduro and Road riders. Why? Because it is extremely comfortable. The longer you ride in this saddle the more you'll appreciate it. No more numbing pain on your sit bones.
It's light too at just 285g.
Charge have put a lot of thought into the design of the Spoon saddle. It's a mid-width saddle with a pressure relief channel that also keeps the blood flowing to your legs.
The shape is very supportive with the sweep towards the rear and drop at the nose. This nose has enough width to allow you to shift forwards on steep climbs or when you're really powering along - you can alter your riding position.
It's durable too, the Spoon will perform for a long time. It's simply fantastic and at this price point… untouchable. Just look at the positive reviews it receives.

it's worth noting that charge as a company does not exist anymore.

The brand still exists. They now only make electric bikes though.

I'm still using one of these that I purchased around 6 years ago. Got a couple more tucked away for if/when it finally gives up the ghost, although no sign of that at this time.

I'm not a cyclist, well I am obviously, but not a 'cyclist'. I have a bike and clothes that would get me sent home from a weekend ride, and a £30 saddle would be a big ticket item for me.

BUT having used cheap soft saddles for years I have to say these really are, counterintuitively to me, very comfortable, even for casual cyclists. And no I don't own any padded shorts.

So no padded shorts etc required with these? I have the basic seat which I got used to on my hybrid bike,

Outstanding saddle. Thanks for posting OP. This will be my fourth Charge Spoon saddle. I buy one for every new bike.

Bought based on reviews, I hardly ever ride my mountain bike, but took in a 20 mile ride when I last went to Wales and my backside hurt like hell. Fingers crossed this is better.

I would also advise some padded shorts if this doesn't do the trick.

I found that pain decreased when my cycling conditioning got better as my tush got used to cycling more.

I’ve got this on my mountain bike, did  52 miles on one ride mostly off-road earlier this year on it and no discomfort, it’s brilliant.

Had one for over ten years and although showing some signs of wear, it's still as comfy as ever.

This is why I love this site. I click on one deal where the saddle is reduced from £170 to £22 and end up buying this even though its hardly discounted. The deal isn't just about the discount. It's about buying quality and a good price.

Had one, not even remotely comfortable compared to a B17.

Of course not. It's a different construction altogether and far more basic. Not to mention cheaper.
Generally, the comfort of this saddle is over-hyped on the internet. But it's a good starting point for a beginner cyclist.

Try it a few times first. Do you have decent bike conditioning? I found most saddles uncomfortable until my tush got used to it.

Installed last week, can confirm way better than the gooch buster syncros that was on there before.
