Or 21GB for £7.95 with £12 TCB via uSwitch. Take your pick. Lebara are a good choice either way if you use roaming. Otherwise Talkmobile give you 30GB for the same price but no roaming. (edited)

I have some experience with Lebara for the last 2 years. Safe to say it is a brilliant provider. Their packs contain:
    Unlim. Mins
    Unlim. Texts
    Data of selected tariffs
    100 mins international calls/mths
    Free roaming in EU.
30 days contract mostly, no tie no cry.
Using Vodafone's network which is excellwnt in my opinion. At least wherever I went always had decent speed and signal. Well, 95% of cases of course. I tried all of the operators in UK and EE and Vodafone are the strongest IMO. Average vodafone 4G speed is 100-160mbps, 5G is 220-310 mbps. More than enough. Also Lebara is not limited to use reduced speeds so they provide same speed as on Vodafone. Based on my own experience.

According to a previous comment if someone does not need EU roaming or 100 mins international calls go for Talkmobile. Bit more data for the same price same conditions. (edited)

Never had more than 27mbps on 4G(usually 3-5mbps) or more than 190mbps on 5G. Same place ,same phone on Vodafone I get 174mbps on 4G and 810mbps on 5G. So looks like Lebara has limits on speed. Saying that, Lebara is the best from all MVNO's in my opinion. (edited)

I've just switched to Lebara as we were with Plusnet, but with the impending closure of their mobile network, and being offered a rubbish deal to switch to EE I thought I'd try Lebara on their 99p MSE deal.

The big plus already is that we actually have a phone signal at my house. EE/Plusnet just hardly ever connected, but now we get a full signal which is great as we don't use a landline and are in a rural village.

Speeds seem good, enough for mobile browsing and currently had no issues with connectivity.

The only downer I've had up to now is the ability to use Wi-Fi Calling or the lack of it.
It's supposed to have been activated on my account as of today (email from Lebara to confirm this) but if I try to turn it on it states to contact Vodaphone to activate Wi-Fi Calling on this account.

I know there's many threads about this issue from other users and whilst it's not the be all, end all it's still a feature that could be useful.
Even going through the Vodaphone checker my phone is compatible and should be working, but not sure I can be bothered chasing Lebara for the feature.

This must be related to the device. The first time I put the Lebara SIM into my phone and activated it I instantly got WiFi calling.
A few days later I got email saying it had been activated on my SIM, but it already was.

    Any limit for roaming?

Looks like its the full amount unless an unlimited plan based on this

EU Roaming continues to be included in all our plans, which means that you can use your data allowance in Europe as you would in the UK. For the unlimited plan, you can use up to 30GB data when in the EU.

Do I need another email address to get a sim offer if I've already had one before?
    Rimi's avatar
Not sure how they operate this year, but they allowed 4 SIM cards on same email. Might be the same as of today. But new email always works 100% for their discounted deals.

Got last month £1.99 brilliant so far

Do you have any issues with the speed? I was thinking of changing from Plusnet to Lebara, but I noticed the speed is almost half that of Plusnet/EE.

Can one just keep getting these cheap lebara deals every few months?
Or does there come a point when they say "no more cheap sims for you!"?

For one of my backup phones, I am bouncing between Lebara and Lyca for 3 years now, using the 1p / 5p deals.

I am having problems getting network for call and data. They keep getting disconnected intermittently.

I did not have connection issues with the Vodafone payg sim from which I ported away.
Can't understand why there is connection issues with lebara, when it uses Vodafone networks

Anyone face this similar network issue? And how did you fix it. Thanks
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
Maybe the sim is at fault, you could get another SIM and swap your number to it.

Last month, when ordered the £1.99 deal, the promotion wasnt applied and was charged the full£8.99. Rang Lebara and they cancelled the deal and refudned. BUt what a palaver. No explantions from Lebara OR Moneysupermarket.

So guys, be careful and check your payments, if on auto renew.

    Sadly, no better/similar deal currently.

Did you accidentally turn off auto renew?
