Can this be used with tesco clubcard exchange?
    Mooney70's avatar
Remember the tesco 3x deals ends next week. So if you have any points to exchange to vouchers do it before it changes to 2x. (edited)

yes is cheaper via Trainpal, code is RC007 for the 34% discount

I have a railcard which expires in 2 months ... can I buy this now, but only let it start when the current one (also with the Trainline) runs out
    PoppinPig's avatar
No, newly purchased railcards start the day they are purchased unfortunately

Man, I wish you could get one in your thirties Heat for the discount!

Can get 16-25 rail card for free at any age if you're a student with Santander student account.

Shame there's never any discounts on the disabled card, but it's a good deal none-the-less.
    scunny's avatar
There never is in these deals, disabled treated like here. (edited)

You could get 1year for £10 from Tesco, edit: with points only (edited)
    C.D's avatar
Tesco Clubcard Points - Get up to 3x your voucher points, so a £30 railcard only uses up £10 of your Tesco Clubcard points
BUT... From 14th June, your Clubcard vouchers will only be worth 2x their value to exchange with their Reward Partners (Exclusions apply).

Although my railcard does not expire till the back end of this year, I have converted £10 of my points last week and before this cut off date.
Tesco give you a voucher code which is normally good for six months, but due to the above any new vouchers will have a twelve month validity.
So if you have them, convert them now.

Can I get it download as paper form bcz sometimes app doesn't work
    Mooney70's avatar
I'd do a screenshot of the app if it's something they need to scan or check. Then you won't need to worry about the app not working.

Just renewed my Railcard with £10 worth of Clubcard Points, whilst the X3 offer is still available
    isabela's avatar
Can you buy with clubcard points and pay this amount

Network railcard for use in the south east also seems to be eligible, making it £24 for a year instead of £30, shame there is no 3 year version
    tempo's avatar
I m not sure... I tried but stopped at the login step and to that point nowhere to insert codes to get a discount...... anyone have actually tried and bought a network railcard?
  10. deathwishdave's avatar

Never owned a rail card. Could I use one to buy 4 tickets even though 3 in my party don't own a rail card ?
    TrixR's avatar
Only the holder can use the discount for themselves I'm pretty sure
  12. eboneezer67's avatar
Can a family and friends for 3 yrs be bought but only used by 2 people to get a 3 Yr period which is unavailable for the travel together card or do more than 2 tickets need to be bought at a time using the family card

"Two adults can be named as cardholders on your Family & Friends Railcard. The two adults don't need to travel together but you do need to be travelling with at least one child between the ages of 5 and 15 to be eligible for the discount."

...surely those of us over 30 can get the family and friends railcard?
    tonyawesome69's avatar
You don't have to be over 30 to get this railcard and you need at least 1 adult and 1 child to travel together to use railcard. (edited)
  14. HangTime's avatar
if a family and friends railcard is the same price as 16-25 and 26-30 and two together, what is the point in those cards? you get a third off adult fares on all of them but additional kids discount with f&f. I mean shouldnt everyone spending £24 just get f&f, or do they have different restrictions?
    FatherPeeweeStairmaster's avatar

You have to have at least 1 child travelling with you to use the family and friends railcard.

Complete and utter discrimination against the 31 to 65 year olds

31 to 65 year olds life matters

Every one should boycott railcards till the 31 to 65 years olds get a rail card with 20% off

The younger people will soon get to 31 and the older people children will

We are all in this together
  18. Nicmann's avatar
Such as shame that they discriminate against older people, not old people just older.

anyone know if the digital family and friends require a photograph of the holders as my wife and sister in law used the physical card version with no issues but if theres a photograpgh does that stop them using it (it says up to 4 adults and two users)
    tonyawesome69's avatar
2 adults can be named on the card and photographs are required.

Hi all ,you can get a 1yr Disabled Railcard with Tesco Clubcard points . Usual price would be £20 but use 3 x points value before 14th June =less than £7 or 2x points after that date = £10. You can delay redeeming voucher for 12 months
