    £50 on the nose is the cheapest I’ve spotted it this year. That was in the whisky shop in Dufftown

    OK it's gone up, but demand for springbank has gone off the chart and deservedly so, no longer the great industry secret. Some of the best whisky on this little island.

    While talking about Springbank and KK demand. Mitchell’s told me a few times that they want retailers ( not those who somehow obtain stock via a third party) reporting who gouge on price.
    They simply will stop supplying such retailers along with those that put allocation straight to auction.

    Great malt but got a few already, though the CS12 is proving really hard to get these days

    I appreciate the heads up thank you. Not strictly a deal but getting any Springbank is so difficult so thank you for that. Made the pilgrimage to Campbeltown a few weeks ago. The tour was special and they had just released the 12 year old cask strength so managed to grab one of them and a 15

    It’s been like this for a few years now. The price is pretty much standard for everywhere whilst stocks are available.
