A revolution in light

With more LEDs and local dimming zone, Mini-LED technology offers deeper blacks and improved contrast for an immersive viewing experience

Richer blacks and clearer highlights

An advanced backlight system with 1,280 independently controlled dimming zones allows contrast to be adjusted with higher precision. Details in the darkest scenes can be reproduced with deeper black levels whilst highlights can be seen in perfect clarity.

Breathtaking brightness with 2000nits

Achieving up to 2000-nits peak brightness, whites look brighter, blacks darker and colours stunningly vibrant. You won't miss any detail with enhanced visibility and images are brought to life with greater realism.

3.1.2ch Front-firing speaker

Experience true cinematic sound with an integrated 3.1.2ch front-firing speaker delivering rich, layered audio with deep, powerful bass and crystal clear highs.

Ultra HD Premium certification

The striking resolution of Ultra HD Premium brings images as close to the real thing as possible. With over 8 million pixels revealing every detail, every scene is brought to life in 4K beauty.

One giant leap for surround sound

Dolby Atmos creates powerful, moving audio that flows all around you, even overhead. Immersive audio precisely places and moves sounds around you in three-dimensional space to deliver a true leap forward from stereo sound. With Dolby Atmos it’s never been easier to recreate cinema sound at home.

Inspired by cinema technology

Dolby Vision HDR technology can deliver highlights up to 40 times brighter and blacks that are 10 times darker than a standard picture, resulting in astonishing brightness, colour, contrast, detail and dimensionality.

Experience IMAX's signature picture, sound and scale in the home

Combining digitally remastered 4K HDR content and DTS audio technologies, experience IMAX's signature picture, sound and scale in the home

See everything, miss nothing with HDR10+

With HDR 10+ support added, dynamic metadata ensures every frame is adjusted for improved image accuracy to get closer to the director's vision.

Play like a Pro

Game Mode Pro with automatic low-latency mode (ALLM) and continual VRR minimises input lag and screen jitter ensures you stay ahead for the win. It's time to experience instant responses, enhanced smooth game motion with minimal motion blur and halo effect, and immersive surround sound for fast-paced competitive gaming.

Beware! I bought the 65U8H last year when first available here{uk} I Read all the 'wow' reviews online by US electronics sites before ordering, only to find later that the UK and Europe models were grossly lower spec than the reviewed US version. Not at all happy!

Sony XR-75X90K. An excellent all round TV with traditional Sony reliability (as long as you don't have a lot of sunlight directly on it).

Also consider the Philips Mini LED which might be better for your needs because it can get very bright and should combat glare in a bright room:

Those 2 were on my shortlist

Do you think the 75" QN90B Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TV

would be a better purchase? with a trade in of an old tv its £1799, approx £1600 with TCB plus you get the freestyle projector, case and skins which could be sold further lowering the price ?

Just keep in mind it's the 2021 model.

Isn't this a new model to the UK, as I've not seen it for sale before. Seen it reviewed by lots of American reviewers.

The QN90B did also have an extra 10% until a few days ago making it £1619. It's a better TV than the other 2. Personally I wouldn't rely on TCB. You have to ask yourself is it worth the hassle doing all that. Any of those TVs would fulfil your needs but for watching regular TV in HD, Sony has the best picture processing but the other 2 are very good too.
