sorted byMy dad ran it over this year after pumping up some van tyres, so I bought the new one, absolute crap! Steer clear of the new one IMO. It is super finnicky with presta valves and has a narrower base which makes it fall over really easily.
I'm considering buying this pump and gifting the new halfords pump to someone I don't like. (edited)
Word of warning though, it's pretty bloody tiring (and as I found out your dad might run over the pump after), so if that's your only use case I'd recommend looking at other tools , e.g. an electric compressor or something.
