Thanks OP, taking a chance on this. Decent brewery, I have cans in my cupboard older than this and they're fine. Although do I really need more beer then?

Same 80 cans in the outhouse and I’m thinking she might make me sleep out there if I order more……

… but on the other hand bottle of Marc Jacob’s might smooth things over.

Everything I've ever had from Amundsen has been tip top. Worth a punt at that price point IMO.

Would appreciate any comments on what these are like when people receive them

Just so I know if its worth buying if they get any more out of date IPA's

Mine arrived this morning. Stuck them in the beer fridge and just opened one.

First impressions? Not great. Well carbonated but no fruit flavour, just a rather musty hop taste and aroma.

I must admit the can wasn't as well chilled as it should be and at 6.5% it's a fairly strong beer. So definitely needs chilling down a few more degrees.

Just bunged a couple in the freezer. I'll have another sample in an hour. Not holding out much hope though.

Best before is a nonsense when talking about an alcoholic beverage sealed in a can pumped full of CO2. This is an excellent deal.

    6.5% get in!!! (edited)

It'll be perfectly safe to drink but NEIPAs deteriorate fast and are best drunk within 3 months - so likely to be well past it's best now. If it's been cold-stored it may be OK, personally I'd give it a miss.

Yeah, I imagine that as an NEIPA it will have separated, and the fruit juice will have drink to the bottom

Everyone knows alcohol kills germs and bacteria so this'll be fine.

Alcohol needs to be above 20% to effectively kill of bacteria but as this is in an air tight container it should be fine.
That being said your humour is not lost on me.

I know these will be ok but at 7 months out of date I would think it should be cheaper.

Single cans (although 440 now) are over £4 a can. To me this seems good value and beer should be fine

I would never buy out of date IPA

Although it will be perfectly safe to drink, hops fade fast and this will not taste anything like it's supposed to

Nonsense. It will still be absolutely fine. 58p a can is a bargain
