While this TV may not cater to a connoisseur like yourself, I personally believe it is an ideal choice for a bedroom in the elderly or a child's room, as well as for outdoor or conservatory settings. It offers numerous user-friendly features that can enhance convenience without being excessively costly.

maybe take a look at the "Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV, Dolby Vision IQ," (edited)

Who needs timely software updates and a decent app store when you can save a few quid with a cheaper Toshiba TV? I mean, who cares about having a seamless streaming experience and a wide range of apps and content at your fingertips? FireTV OS is just overrated with its constant updates and extensive app selection. Why settle for quality and convenience when you can have a limited software experience for less, right?

I'm after a 32" smart TV for the bedroom as I'm looking to do away with virgin TV all together and just keep the internet so the TV is simply for watching the odd show on Netflix or Disney (streaming). Won't be using it for any gaming or anything like that so would this TV be good for that ? Im surprised how hard it's been looking for a 32" smart TV that's affordable.

This T.V should be fine for what you want it for, the one from John Lewis in the comments above would be fine too and cheaper &149 with 5 year guarantee.

You can always buy a firestick (often at half price) and bung it in the hdmi slot of a cheaper TV. I agree, for a tech company to offer 720p is ridiculous in 2023. Don't know what the OP is paying for Virgin internet but there are some great 5G deals around that don't lock u into a contract for more than a month and avoid the eye-watering inflation increases every year. Lebara is a good example (mostly, Voda "upgraded" some of Paignton to 5G which meant it was down to 3G in many areas for a couple of days - ended up with 4G running at around 60mps rather than 5G, though), so far I have paid £12.50 a month for six months with forty quid cashback (via multiple accounts) and then three months at £12.50 with hopefully £40 back again!!!
