How do these compare to the Amazon fire tabs? Currently I'm using a fire 7 that is ancient and slow. Literally just for Spotify, and it doesn't even have enough space to update. I was thinking of waiting for prime day and seeing if any newer ones go on offer. Using it for recipes in the kitchen and other entertainment would be useful though.

The clock would be useful, although I actually have been wanting an Alexa enabled version purely so I can do away with one of the other Alexa devices (we use Google minis in most places but Alexa works as a door chime for the eufy video doorbells and it's cheaper than the official chimes).

Android tablets are x10 better than any amazon tabs

I had a 10" tablet some time ago. It was great for watching a movie when the TV wasn't available. Anyone buying this, I'd recommend buying a cheap stand for it. I actually prefer 8" tablets because they are a lot lighter to hold.

I prefer smaller tablets too. I've just ordered the Lenovo M9 for £119.99 from Argos for that exact reason

What's the difference from the m9 to this any noticible difference as looking for a cheap tablet.

The M9 seems to have a slightly stronger CPU but in any case I don't think will make any difference day to day (unless someone can correct me).

I'd probably just go for this.

Can this be used to watch Netflix in HD. Also is 4GB of RAM still good in this day and age. For lots of open tabs and gaming etc...

Aye same, chose argos as can possibly use the £5 code readily available, and most prefer argos

Got 2 of these and both just updated to the newer version of Android (not newest). Great battery life.

I wasn't offered the free gift I also have to send it in for replacement as I can't connect via bluetooth despite following the troubleshooting.

Currently in the market for a new tablet to replace my old Samsung - I use it mostly for reading and a bit of browsing so nothing too cpu heavy, was considering the Samsung S6 lite which is about £30 more than this on a previous trade in deal, can anyone who knows about these things say whether the Samsung is vastly better?

I've not tried it so not 100% sure but just like the dji deal a few weeks back I'd imagine this will fall into the "tech purchases" category.
As far as I can tell very (4%) is your best TCB route

Anyone who has this tablet experiencing freezing and random reboots? The screen and tablet will freeze with a black screen and I have to do a hard reset just to get the bloody thing to reboot. Short of a full reset I'm thinking of sending back for a refund

Have recently bought this from Very. Came in at 104 with the 20% they offered me. For my use which is watching TV and light browsing I must say its a bit of a bargain.
