The bed features a durable steel framework with quality, hard wearing 8 ply poplar sprung slats. The sprung slats increase comfort whilst also increasing mattress life span.Classic buttoned headboard with padding for added comfort when sitting up in bed. Matching buttoned footboard and attractive silver feet complete the design. Quality linen fabric with a slight texture, hard wearing and easy to clean.
Featuring quality gas lift pistons, the large storage area can be easily accessed enabling a large variety of items to be tidily stored away. The base is covered with a black fabric cloth so stored items are not in contact with the floor.
Suitable for use with all standard UK size mattresses. The bed meets all UK FR and safety standards and has also undergone extensive structural testing. Supplied flat pack for self-assembly, approximate build time of 60-90 minutes.

sorted byOnly issue we’ve had is the plastic clips that hold the slats break (might be the heavy mattress). Aspire were very good and sent out replacements quickly with zero hassle.
Also it’s a fabric base. But I don’t mind that, as you can’t really see that from the side of the bed. Looks like it’s on legs with nothing under it. But it means you don’t get dust/etc collecting under it.
Considering ordering the double for the kids room at this price. The superking is an excellent price. (edited)
Paid more than this but still consider it excellent value. Good build quality but as said above the slat holders broke easily. Aspire replaced them but they broke again. Replaced them with some better ones from EBay for under £20, all sorted.

It was the worst thing I have ever put together, then when I moved and needed to take it apart I threw it
out the window.
Worst thing I have ever bought and will never buy another.
Just go for the drawr units or buy one that you can stick boxes underneath.
