SHIMANO RS500 SPD-SL ROAD CYCLING PEDALS
These single-sided entry pedals are a perfect entry-level option for riders new to road cycling. The Shimano RS500 SPD-SL Road Cycling Pedals represents excellent value. The wide, stable platform provides great power transfer and these pedals have a lighter spring tension to make clipping in and out much easier, which is great for riders trying their first clipless setup. The supplied SPD-SL SM-SH11 cleats are compatible with three-bolt road cycling shoes.

Do these naturally rotate so the cleat connector is facing upwards?

I'm currently using some Shimano M324's which are combination pedals so have a trainer and cleats on either side. I always find that as I'm trying to clip in, the pedal is round the wrong side so I end up cycling trying to spin it round looking down and not forwards.

No they don't naturally rotate to the correct orientation. You have to kick it round with your shoe
