Very decent price for an older NUC. Need to put in own RAM and NVME which are cheap. It’a 65W TDP so the 650W gold supplied PSU can handle a decent GPU. Good deal for those who want a good SFF PC without the hassle of building everything themselves (albeit with limited future upgrade capability).

I agree though, this is quite an interesting choice and good value for how much it originally cost. Putting together a similar ITX build in a compact case is a massive pain (especially cable routing and fitting it all in). At least with this you end up with good components and minimal hassle.

Hi, yes it’s laptop memory Ddr4 which is installed inside the compute element. (edited)

Seems rather expensive, how does this compare to an AMD 7840HS which can be had for the same price or cheaper and has RDNA3 graphics.

I’m not too familiar with that chip but it seems like it will depend on use case scenario.

This has a 650w gold psu and supports up to a 3080ti. CPU is comparable to a desktop 11900k (but much more power efficient). This would be useful for those wanting to upgrade their setup outwith GPU in a very sff friendly way.

The new AMD processors seem very power efficient and seem like better alternatives to the pro NUCs (for productivity). Haven’t seen any prebuilt AMD machines with similar functions to this where you can add your own GPU inside? Better to compare this to an Itx solution.

Can you post a link to a machine with the CPU you’ve stated? I can’t find any tbh (edited)

Does that mean prices will go up?
