No, it's Homebase 3 thing
Does this do 24/7 recording or just when it detects motion?

Motion only and its PIR triggered so anything behind glass will not trigger recording.
Only cameras that do 24/7 are the hard wired ones. If you need that and want this brand go check out the floodlight cams iirc they work. I grabbed a ptz indoors one and stuck it through a window to get what i needed. they'll 24/7 to the new s330 box. The recording quality is forcibly capped at 1080 though and night vision doesnt work through the glass due to reflections (if its lit with streetlights or similar its fine)

I've read on Amazon that it works without the Homebase. Does anyone have any experience using it without the Homebase?
Works with the app on it's own but can also be added to homebase 3 to work with alarms etc.

Home base is some extra gubbins, don’t actually know all it’s features but I think it extends the wireless network and acts as storage - it’s about £150 itself so def not included
