About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
UPDATE: Seems to be available to order again as of today (21st July), albeit with a 1-2 month delay to delivery, and is no longer a Prime exclusive.
Garmin Forerunner 245 GPS Running Watch with advanced training features, Black with Slate Band (Renewed)
Seems like a reasonable saving, though it is a renewed (refurbished) item. I haven't personally purchased an Amazon Renewed item before, but you can return it if not happy with the condition. Thought I'd add it to the list of Garmin Prime Day deals as an additional option (I actually went for a new Forerunner 55 for £5 more as I'm not personally bothered about the extra features on the 245, but hope it helps someone!).
Note that this is the version without music.
Worth noting that you can also potentially get an additional £5 in Amazon credit if you top up your gift balance by £40 - see hotukdeals.com/dea…227
Info about the watch:
This GPS smartwatch tracks the stats, crunches the numbers and gets to know all about the performance, the running form, the training and even the goals. Run the heart out with a watch that’s got the power to keep up. One will get up to 7 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 24 hours in GPS mode.
Info from Amazon about renewed items:
Amazon Renewed is your trusted destination for refurbished, pre-owned, and open-box products. Products sold on Amazon Renewed have been inspected and tested to be fully functional by an Amazon qualified and performance managed supplier who is either the seller of record, when that is not Amazon EU S.à.r.l., or a third party vendor, when Amazon EU S.à.r.l. sells products that it sources from third party vendors. The suppliers, who may be qualified manufacturers or specialized third-party refurbishers, must meet strict criteria to be able to sell on Amazon Renewed and meet ongoing performance targets. The inspection and testing process typically includes a full diagnostic test, replacement of any defective parts, and a thorough cleaning process carried out by the qualified supplier, or by Amazon.

sorted byYou can allow Garmin to post every activity to Strava just fine.
Is it not better for you to use some dedicated bike computer instead? And maybe buy extra HR strap that can connect to it? Sorry but I do know much about cycling
But for me I need/want the Music version. Any recommendations for alternatives would be great.
