I previously bought the MX4s about a year ago ‘like new’ and they were mint condition and are amazing headphones.
Amazon not offering an exchange for the MX5s, which is really disappointing as it was a good deal.

what are the chances of it being new but damaged packaging. says that in details
Its probably just a squash or dent on the box or its been ripped on the side. The inside uses a strong cardboard usually and its well sealed and protected by it and if its not you can just return it Amazon know there warehouse gear is not tested so its almost a no quibble returns at this point just don't overdo the returns.

Maybe they have all gone, have checked the black models and there sadly not offering a 30% discount.
