Just a little tip for people.
If you want to cook 2 things at once, say like Sausages and chips.
Put the sausages on the bottom and then on the top put your chips.
To prevent the chips falling through and to cook properly buy one of these and cut it to size and place on the grill.

Cook the chips on bottom and sausages on top and the oil from sausages will drip on the chips for flavour, burger oil is amazing that way

I bought one for my sister and one for my brother. Can't fault it, apart from one very annoying thing, that is the drawer. It's a total fiddle getting it closed or open. Often you have to hold the unit to get it to slide open, or the whole thing sometimes comes forward with your pull. For closing, unless you direct it dead centre straight, it catches every single time on the sides, and requires a hefty push for flush click closure. It's a design issue that could have been worked out so much better (compared to my smooth open close Morphy Richards).

Agree about the drawer. Ours has settled down a bit but still requires some force. My good lady, Hashybashy, uses it quite happily!

As someone who has never owned or used an air fryer - is it quite straightforward to work out how long to cook something when you would normally rely on the instructions on your pack of chips / wings etc?

It is very easy, you can use the button and use a preset program or just press it to come on manually for a certain time or use the just as easy app.

My 73 year old mother is a total techno phobe and she finds it easy enough to use.
She just uses manual mode and puts everything on for 15 mins (edited)
