    Costco will only fit tyres which match the manufacturer’s recommended size for the car.

    How much is 1 please? can't see prices as I'm not a member but have considered joining for a while.

    Literally paid £105 per tyre for 2 on Saturday, they are 6s but I'd have been happy with 5s. Garage pointed out I need a 3rd changing.

    £75 + membership would break even but give me a years membership to explore the wonders of Costco.

    For those that don’t know, it’s Costco’s policy to fit new tyres to the rear. So if you’re needing new front tyres they will fit them but put the rear wheels with the old tyres on the front and the front wheels with the new tyres on the rear.

    That's the opposite of what every garage does. Swapping them around and rebalancing is going to wipe out the savings.

    I have just put F1 asy 6 on my BMW f31 330d and dropped the terrible runflats. Absolutely unbelievable Jeff! Car sticks like glue, ride is more comfortable and the rim protection is superb.

    Thing is the new continental sport contact 7 blow away anything in the wet.

    Just a reminder this test you showing above is on 19s was a Supra if I recall. So the dynamic changes a bit.
    But good on you for ditching the run flats. Worse thing known to man. Remind me of the wheels on a children's buggy.
    Nice bit of kit the f31 330d.
    Unfortunately Costco will never have conti's for sale. Let alone offer (edited)

    You can always call the tyre department as ask for a price. You dont need to be a member to get a price.

    They do mate yes. My son had new wheels for his i30n and he took the wheels in the back of the car and they fitted the tyres onto the rims. We then fitted the wheels to his car at a later date (once we'd done some braking upgrades!)

    That's because there are 'standard' sizes for tyres - 205/55/16, 225/45/17, 225/40/18 are laways cheap. Go outside this and you'll pay way more. In all fairness you'd probably be fine with these as long as you changed all four.

    Not sure 5's didn't last even a year with proper tyre pressure.. Only bigger improvement was that in a snow I could drive in a straight line and not risk getting stuck on a road bump. Stopping a car by the traffic lights was a nightmare on previous editions especially super sports. Running on 6's will have to see this year..

    Great deal. Probably one of the best high performance dry road tyres, unless you're comparing to F1 SS, Pilot Sport 4S or a similar track ready tyre.
